Apparently it's going to be Sammy Lee as assistant.

What's everyone making of the appointment of Sammy Lee? People have been giving Fat Sam a bad reception, but not much reaction positive or negative on litttle Sammy.

The sight of Hodgson scurrying away down the tunnel like a rat after the humiliation against Iceland and the shameless pre prepared media act that followed will probably never be beaten in the cringeworthy tragicomedy stakes. He made Alan Partridge look like Admiral Nelson and it was a just way (hopefully) to end the career of one of football's biggest charlatans. F***ing hilarious!

Allardyce will have to go some to reach those depths but by reappointing Rooney as captain he's made an encouraging start.
