Used to enjoy this, but quite frankly it's sh*t.

3 grown children, sorry, men, get payed huge amounts of money to rag very fast and expensive cars all over the world, and the point of this is what, entertainment? yeah OK it's a little entertaining up to the 3rd Clarkson cliche, and then whats the point.

It used to be an informative show about new cars that the average bloke, (and little lady ::)) could afford. But now its the £200,000 Zonda or the like, sorry but F**k off, just popping down to the shops to get the weekly shop, oh bollocks better get a taxi as the GX27i turbo MKII has not got a boot, but it's so fast I could get there before I left. Yeah lots of use!

Why all the destruction of cars, caravans, and the like. Clarkson, Hammond and May just F**k off to Sky and stop wasting my Licence fee.

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car WTF! Patronising tw*ts, were just gonna have a laugh at the sort of car our viewers drive.

      Rant over. Thanks.

The Stig is Michael Schumacher. Suprised, I thought he would be too busy as a Ferrari advisor.

I don't believe he's the real Stig. I don't really watch Top Gear but this is probably just another publicity stunt.

They would not reveal the real one.

Don't really believe it myself. He would have been in England for the British GP so he would be easily got (for the right price). With his work as an advisor for Ferrari I cant see him going to the TG test track every week to test a car, then do one of the races on top of that.

Wasn't the rumour always that it was Ben Collins?

      It says though:

"Perry McCarthy, a former Formula 1 driver, was the original Stig, wearing black overalls for his appearances.

He was replaced with a new Stig, dressed in white, after he had revealed his identity in his 2002 autobiography."

Maybe Schumacher did infact take over in 2002 then?

      They will never reveal him.

And Redpuppy, the whole point of Top Gear is to test cars that are the pinnacle of engineering and looks.  Seriously, who wants to watch a review on a bog standard Punto or Fiesta?

Its entertaining, really, what else is good on the BBC?  Chris Moyles???!

I drive a Fiesta and never ever ever will drive, buy or even sit in a Ferrari... But i love it.

They didn't really confirm that it was or wasn't The Stig.

I personally don't think it is Schumacher, but they're going to keep saying it is to take the edge off whoever it really is. Whoever it is anyway, they're a f*cking legend.

I get the Top Gear mag and you get reviews of affordable cars in there. The show's literally for entertainment and I love it, as do many others. Fair enough that that's how you feel about Top Gear Redpuppy, but I don't agree myself. So glad it's back on the telly now.

I dunno how they're going to carry on with this Stig gimmick now that he has been revealed. It's not Schumacher, though.

I reckon it was just a new way of introducing the star in the reasonably priced car.

Just started watching the UK version.  Love it. Hilarious.

I must admit that Clarkson is way too biased on the European cars. A lot of his comparisons are one sided.  He compared the new Dodge Challenger to the new BMW saying the Challenger was not a muscle car the BMW is.  Those are 2 TOTALLY different cars. I wouldn't compare a KIA to an Enzo either.  Their have been a lot of good European cars and a LOAD of sh*t ones too.

With the questionable comparisons aside the show is awesome. I love the races and challenges. Its great watching 3 guys who actually love what they do.
