Player of the season so far for us, hope his form continues.

Turns out to be a very shrewd buy from Rafa,very versatile and another shrewd move by Kenny playing him left back.

Played very well on Saturday.

Was a menace going forward while not forgetting his defensive duties.

We actually missed him on Sunday.

Cracking player defo in the top 3 nearly every game in an attacking threat, reminds me alot of Maicon in his heyday at Inter. I actually think playing him at left back has improved his game he seems to concentrate more positionally maybe because he's not on his more natural side. Hope he's back soon we miss him hugely whenever he's out.

According to Rodgers him and alves are the two best right backs in world. Saying it for a long long time Johnson is a top player defo best right back in premiership for me.

Yeah he deserves all the kudos coming his way at the moment. Was decent last season an all plus he has been excellent for England for some time now.

He's always been good going forward but I always questioned the defensive side of his game.

Have to say that has improved over the last 12 months or so and he's almost priceless to us now as how many full backs are there who can perform to that level on either flank?

Had the misfortune of being signed in Rafa's last season. Johnno started that 2009-2010 campaign very well too.

Have to agree here, even more so when you think Jonjo already got a song in his short career, wouldn't have taken a genius to use Shelveys song for someone imo, who's earned it more. (This is not ment as slur on Shelvey I rate the lad, more lack of appreciation of one of best full backs of Liverpools history).

To be fair, not a huge amount of competition, at full-back, during Gerrard's career.  Only Babbel, who made the team anyway and Finnan spring to mind, though if Rob Jones hadn't been struck down with injuries, he may have prolonged his Liverpool career and been pushed into the equation.

I thought Glen had a good game against the Chavs on his return to the team. Only Enrique pipped him to MOTM for me.

He played OK, I'd have had a few more above him in race for MoM. Agree with you on Enrique though.

His marking at corners/set pieces needs working on massively was letting Ivanovic run off him all the time.

That said imo marking isn't his strong point, and what he now gives us going forward as a modern day full back he's one of our best and most consistent performers, really love the way the lad bombs on be it on the right or left. One of first names on team sheet for me.

Man of the match for me yesterday barring Suarez has been our best player this season.
