I still think he's got the best voice I've ever heard. How I'd love to have a singing voice like Michael Stipe's.

Saw them in Manchester last time they were over here, what a F***ing show!!
We were getting a lift home after the show and we got off as REM were finishing, couldn't believe they carried on for like an hour after they should have finished, good enough our daughter was late so we heard most of it.
Got to be one of the best live bands ever.
