Watched it last night, terrible terrible film, shocking, the acting, script, the frigging lot.

No wonder Christians & Muslims have protested at the film :D

I can't explain how bad this movie is.
Proof that both faiths can agree on something , the welding goggles and rocket launcher fu**ed it for me along with everything else , 2.5 hours lost from my life that i'll never get back . Robbed i tell you .

If you've read any of Irvine Welsh's books which are completely off the wall, I've seen a recent movie based on one of his stories.

Filth - With quite a big British cast staring James McAvoy.

Definitely worth a watch if you like that kind of stuff, never quite pulled of the Clockwork Orange factor but one that kept me watching.

That's a pretty messed up film.

A bit all over the place, and pretty much Trainspotting for coppers.

      I still enjoyed it though.
I like messed up if it's done right.

Ray Winston, jeez I thought he could not get worse than Beowolf, should stick to bet 365 adverts.

Watch the Proposition, great film in which he is great. Needs the right director to draw a good performance from him.

      Just watched John Pilger's "Utopia".

I can't believe Indigenous Australians in a first world country live in conditions akin to third world countries. There is no excuse for it.

      http://johnpilger.com/videos/utopia-trailer

It was bad enough that the Brit's took away land from the Indigenous people, incarcerated, tortured and beat them, but subsequent Australian governments have made it far worse.

One bloke interviewed believed Australia needs international aid to give adequate, housing, health and education to Indigenous people, as though the Australian establishment is too incompetent to sort it's own affairs out.

      ~ ROAD ~ THE MOVIE ~ DUNLOP'S ~ ♣ OFFICIAL TRAILER - Liam Neeson - ✔

Just home from this and a stunning film although very emotional and difficult to watch at times.

Up there with Senna as far as motorsport documenteries go as far as I'm concerned.

Any recommendations for good films please.

Not really bothered about genre except to say I like a good comedy, but action, adventure, thrillers etc are fine as well.
As long as it's something I can get lost in for a couple of hours.

L.A. Confidential.   What a cracking film and one in which I've finally enjoyed a Russell Crowe performance.

Saw that years ago. Forgot about it and what happens in it but remember it being a cracker too!

Edge of Tomorrow ... Tom Cruise.

Funny, action film with a Groundhog Day element to it. Probably Cruise's best film for a long while. Switch your brain off, sit back and enjoy.

Erm I didn't see it at the cinema mate, but if it is still going round the cinemas it would be worth it.

Transcendance (Johnny Depp) on the other hand I would wait till it is out on DVD/tv. Interesting premise but not one I would pay to see. The payoff at the end is just not worth the wait. 5/10

Funnily enough that's on at my local cinema this week. Think it involves tea and hob nobs with some old dears as part of the 'Silver Screen' season but might see if I can duck in the back :)
