      Has anyone seen Nightcrawler?

I thought it was a brilliant satire and was one of my films of the year.

      Just seen Whiplash.

Really enjoyed it and I never thought a film about Jazz drumming could be so engrossing.

      Fantastic.

      Fantastic.

Loved it. I was gripped the whole way through. It's more exciting than most action movies I've seen.

And J.K. Simmons. Wow just give that man his oscar now!

      I blame racer.

Watched Big Hero 6 the other day. The first two thirds are brilliant, charming and character driven. Simply watching Baymax navigate the environment is amusing enough.
The final third, Michael Bay does Disney.
Still recommend giving it a go though, my kids enjoyed it as well.

      Guilty!
I F***ing love it. Bought the soundtrack too.

Big Hero 6 next up on the watch list.

I loved Emmanuel Lubezki's cinematography. The fake one shot was a nice concept. Was edited incredibly to create the effect.

Keaton, Norton, Galifianakis and even Emma Stone turned out great performances.

Wasn't my favourite film of the year. Taking what it was nominated against, it deserved to win.

Wow you sound knowledgeable about this film cool. I like obscure films, for me this one didn't click, it was half fascinating half totally crap. left the Movie thinking Emma Stone and Edward Nortan can F**k right off. Sorry for harsh words here matio.

Anyone seen Taken 3 yet? Was going to watch it this weekend but didn't get round to it. Being the third instalment, I have my doubts about it, considering how average the second one was.

Same as, saw Taken 1 and the follow up Taken 2 was an anti-climax, mainly because 1 was such a brilliant movie and so hard to improve on. Couldn't imagine a third attempt being a must see movie.
Saw The Equaliser last week starring Denzal Washington, don't normally like sci-fi or Denzal Washington but highly recommend this movie if you haven't seen it.

Taken 3 might disappoint, mainly because Liam Neeson is old now. Still a good action flick.

Can't wait for The Revenant to come out now.

Iñárritu and Lubezki winning for directing and cinematography again may cause some to explode ;)

Also, Leo DiCaprio getting another Oscar snub will be fun.

totally agree. Watched it two days ago and I just didn't get it. Boring as hell for me. It is artistic film so maybe i don't get the art in it  ;D

Was surprised when i saw win on Oscars

      Thought the Equaliser was brilliant.

John Wick was quite good too with Keanu Reeves.

Ashamed to have never seen this true great until it was on BBC 2 on Friday night. I was utterly mesmerised. Got chills watching it. Just cannot believe that a film made over 45 years ago can still look ahead of its time even today. And none of your CGI bullshit that infiltrates the movies today. One of, if not the greatest film I have ever seen!
