The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

I wanted to see this when it was in the cinema but didn't get the chance so recorded it the other night on Ch 4.

      Loved it.

I think I loved it more for the cinematography and soundtrack than the actual film but loved it none the less.

Been watching a lot of pretty average films lately. Central Intelligence, Criminal and the Nice Guys. Nice Guys being the pick of the bunch was quite good but could have been so much better. All had their moments, but left me feeling I could have spent my time better.
Watched this a while ago mate. Personally I didn't like it, probably because I had read the book first. Totally different ending to the book.

I think the film ending was supposed to be that John Cussack is dreaming he has found his son, but is really just walking the wheel with the rest of the mindless.( I suppose in a way it's trying to give you a choice of endings)

Book ends with the hero and his friends blowing everyone up and then trying to reboot his son's brain by getting him to listen to a cell phone.

To be fair mate, I actually liked Criminal - thought Kevin Costner was good as the loony killer.

Yeah Central Intelligence seemed the average by the numbers comedy. Enjoyed the Nice Guys though.

Yeah he was, but the film for me was nothing special... had a much better ending than the film deserved imo.

I seem to have just seen too many 5 or 6 out of 10 films lately with none really grabbing me. Eye in the sky, Special Correspondents, I saw the light, Robinson Crusoe, Traded.

The football season can't start soon enough for me.

Daylights End. Pretty much Assault on Precinct 13 meets I am legend. Very watchable Vampire killing action movie, just switch your brain off and enjoy. I enjoyed it anyway! Recommended if you like mindless violence. 7.5/10

Looked it up on imdb. Who is Johnny Strong :) And wasn't sure good old Lance was still with us. But Assault on Precinct 13 & I am legend were decent watches, and who doesn't like mindless violence, might give it a shot!!

Dunno who Johnny Strong is mate, but he does a good job as the hero. Well worth a watch... much better than the new Independence Day imo anyway.

Eye in the Sky is well worth a watch staring Helen Mirren, showing the dilema and ethics involving a hell fire strike. 7/10

Wasn't as good as I expected mate. All that faffing about I just found irritating rather than tense. I thought Helen Mirren was excellent but the film would have been over in about 30 mins if I had been in charge. 6/10 but even that is being a little generous :)

I wonder if those remote control flying "insects" with cameras inside really exist? Incredible if they do.

Watched this last night and got to be honest it's actually alright and it is funny. I enjoyed it.

Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver have cameo's in the film and it's produced by Ivan Reitman with Dan Ackroyd as executive producer.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago.
Thought it was good. Main two Ghostbusters aside.
The other two were great, but the main pair didn't quite gel for me.
Original receptionist has a cameo too.

Just watched Warrior with Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton. Seems to be a fairly underrated film looking online, but I loved it. Great acting is what made this film for me. (Trailer contains oodles of spoilers, I'd recommend just watching the film instead!)

Love it especially the closing scenes with The Nationals About Today playing.
