They just opened up a new Odeon in my town, so treated myself to a Limitless pass for the year, watched The Girl On The Train on Saturday and just got back from seeing Doctor Strange.

The Girl On The Train I really enjoyed, I have the book but have never got around to reading it which I'm glad because I could go into it not knowing what to expect! A solid 8/10 I'd say.

Doctor Strange was okay, but definitely not the best Marvel movie, was paced a bit strangely, but overall enjoyable, I'd give it a decent 6/10.

Just back from watching Oujia: Origins of Evil... was expecting a terrible movie but it weren't half bad for an horror flick! Got a few jumps out of it, 6/10.

I'm curious, can this Limitless pass be traded to other people? :D

It has your name and picture on it, but I've yet had any worker have a proper look at it, especially if I've booked online, I just give em my order reference number and they print the tickets out, only been asked to see my pass once the last four times

      Seen Dr Strange today.

Some great visuals and decent performances but I found myself leaving feeling a bit like I've seen it all before.

Maybe there are just too many Marvel movie's these days?

Watched Glory just then on BBC 2. First time I've seen it. Brilliant and emotional especially that last battle scene. Great acting from Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington.

I've been a General Manager in a cinema now for the past 6 months and it's really interesting seeing what films actually grabs the general publics attention more than others.

Trolls is a huge hit right now and we've had our work cut out over half term.

      Dr Meh.

      Typical Marvel origin movie.

Only good scenes were in the trailer.

CGI for the big baddie with the rubbish name at the end was awful.

Just can't get excited for Marvel movies anymore.

Enjoyed the first Iron Man and Captain America movies but find them all formulaic and boring now.

      Really?

My missus who usually has no interest in sci fi movies loved it too.

Couple of the lads hated it as well though so it's def not for everyone.

Yep, although she has been known to change her mind after a day or so. When she knows it's a film I really want to see I think she tries to convince herself she won't like it. ;D

Three guys in front of us kept laughing through the film. Think they were expecting Independence Day.

Funny how people react differently to movies.

At our screening there was total silence with a few sniffles when the credits rolled... mainly from me :D

Hell or High Water: thought this was a cracking film, part drama ,crime western ,right up my street. Jeff Bridges ( always watchable for me ) at his grizzled best ,with great turns from Chris pine & Ben foster.
      Recommend.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago, and agree.
      A very good film.

I watched Whiplash again last night, and enjoyed it even more 2nd time round.
