I didn't like Shaun of the Dead, it was funny, but creepy faces scare me.. :(

Hot Fuzz is funny as F**k but I never realised how gory it was 'til I saw it, haha.

      The Notebook. Sigh..
I know, I know, its a real soft film, but I loved it! Just finished watching it an hour ago, never seen it before. Was sobbing the last 15 mins.. hehe. And then a compulsory call to boyfriend ofcourse "I love youuu-huuu..." Tears, snot and makeup all over the place.... (sexy eh!?) Feels good tho, cleans up a bit  ;)

This is England is an absolutely brilliant film, a must watch IMO. I watched 28 Weeks Later on pirate, so I think I missed a lot with regards to special effects

An oldie but goodie for me has to be "The Long Good Friday" with Bob Hoskins.

The afore named Mr Hoskins is awsome, Just for the final scene alone and he doesn't utter a word. It is by far the best English gangster film ever made and an absolute must for those who haven't seen it.

Another cracker if you haven't seen it already is "Sexy Beast".The plot is a bit far fetched, but Ben Kingsley is absolutely fantastic, playing a 5ft 4" psychotic gangster. Very Very Scary

And finally if your idea of a good film is blubbering silently into a hankie, whilst telling the missus you've got something in your eye. I have to recommend "Shadowlands", Anthony Hopkins plays T.S.Eliot, the true life author of The Lion The Witch & THe Wardrobe. If the final scenes dont make you cry like Ronaldo McDonald on Saturday, your a hard b***ard.

The Messiah you are the first person I've ever known who is a huge Hoskins fan....fair play to you for bringing up 'The Long Good Friday'....a classic....of the same ilk is 'Get Carter'...the original Mike Hodges version with Michael Caine.....such a gritty unsettling movie...love it.
Going to have to watch Shadowlands again....been a few years.
Also watched Amadeus the other day again....FANTASTIC....fo rgot how amazing it was...1984.
Raging Bull was on again.....Joe Pesci was such a great actor.....de niro's characters slow demise was tragic....great movies......sorry started to waffle....

Looking forward to Shrek 3..and ummm...Transformers. Any else want to see this (im such a saddo ;D) :P

But did any one see Harry Enfeild last night, last sketch very funny,, abramovitch bought Liverpools History for Chelsea, and ended with 3 curly topped, mustashed scoucers, eh eh eehing. very funny, but to the question in hand, for me, Casino Royale, I know its a bit old but thats the best I've seen, looking forward to Harry Potter 5, Die Hard 4, Pirates 3, sorry can not think of a 2, and The Simpsons.
