Yeah, people go on about him not smiling enough and all that, but we can see from clips like that how much it means to him.
I more feel he keeps a control on his emotions (at least, on showing them!) because of all the media attention. Perfect example being that goal against Blackburn where he waved his arms and he was supposedly being contemptuous. I reckon he wants to avoid the most bad press like that as possible to keep focused on the football.
