I thought Man City weren't able to spend again this season due to FFP rules? Can anyone here explain or do I need to do a google , search and read up? (so much effort in that :D)

Probably why they dodged the rules with Lampard, to facilitate a signing in this window.

Well it's a piece of piss to get round isn't it?
Just get another sponsorship deal to name part of the ground/training ground whatever.
Their owners are very very powerful people and let's not be naive here, they ,can pretty much do whatever they like.

I don't know why they get slagged so much have put a fair bit of dough in themselves to have the Manc tram re-routed to the Etihad, have done up the area around the ground.

It's a lot more than our lot have done!

Useless fuckers have probably just handed the title to the Kunts in West London.

Quite obviously £500M buys you nothing these day!

      Well done Manuel.

There could very well be a managers job going at Man City if anyone is interested.

Could? If they don't win the league (which they won't) then Pellegrini is a goner

Rafa could do a job there Billy, although it's a dog's chance and no chance he will be selected by the misfiring management board at Citeh.

I would not like to see RAFA go anywhere near Manchester, that applies to both City and United. I wonder if we could nominate  Woy Hodgson for the City job.

I reckon Sterling will have a very big impact for them this season. Watching Roma v City in the champions cup, he is the best attacking player out their.

Not if his very first couple of touches are anything to go by because he fell over the ball and pretty much face planted the pitch.

That was his first touch and his second was a goal. Should have had a penalty, absolutely stonewall, turned the player inside out. I have no grudges against Sterling. These players aren't fans they are millionaire, celebrities who are absolutely removed from the norm. They do believe the hype. However Raheem has immense speed and balance and coordination and will be a star there. We have had stars leave and more have turned up. We will be fine.

Certainly didn't have immense balance when he fell over the ball  :lmao:

Also, yes I agree, we have had stars come and go. But, Sterling wasn't a star player, he was a player with potential to be a star. But I doubt his attitude will ever see him fulfil that potential because it won't be long before his agent has him wanting out of City for one of the European Giants and keep going on to get that big pay day.

Fair enough, I can't stand the way money has shredded the game either. It treat the fans the worst and they are the game.
