So, I was wondering if any of you football fanatics had time for some quality motorsports now and then??? the Fourmula 1 season has already begun and the first race is 18-Mar, this sunday, in aussie-land. I've been a HUGE supporter of ferrari over the years  ;D and I was wondering if anyone shared my passion.

      Talk it up! :action-smiley-035: :action-smiley-035: :ernaehrung004: :ernaehrung004:

I enjoy watching it on TV, but I'll never go to a curcuit and watch 20 cars drive passed 60 / 70 times.
Are there any new drivers to watch out for this year ?

Think there is a new English fella.. completely forgotten his name.

I'm the same.  I'll watch it on the box but I would never go to Silverstone or whatever.  Unless someone else was paying.  Monaco.  I'd go there.

the first corner is always interesting as there is inevitably a crash! after that, don't take much interest!

i go to the US race, its only 70 miles( i dont know how many km it is) from my house and i paint my face sometimes, but i've also got a batman mask that i've painted red so i can be my own form of support. its got LFC on one cheek and the ferrari prancing horse on the other. its the most addicting sport in the world, other than football of course. if i could do one thing and it wasn't football, i would drive the F1 circut w/o a doubt.

GO FERRARI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ME MEN MASSA AND RAIKONNEN!!!!!!!

I would love to be converted to watch it again after giving up taking an interest when Schumacher used to lead a procession round the track before winning every race!
Is it a more level playing field now or are there still only one or two cars capable of winning?

no, its more like 5 or 6. this makes it more interestin cause it think the FIA went back to only the first 6 finishers get the points. could be interesting. don't worry about scott speed though, hes not goin anywhere fast. sorry mate.

Lewis Hamilton finished second yesterday behind Massa.
Hamilton after 3 races is joint Championship leader  :o :o on 22 points.
Not bad start for a rookie  :)

I used to watch it all the time but have got bored of it lately.  It's not the same without Murray Walker.

Love F1! Used to be better though in the old days though....Murrey Walker commentating with the playboy James Hunt as Senna, Prost, Piquet, Berger and Mansell...todays crop are overpaid and not as good with the obvious exceptions of Alonso and Coultard (God I hate him).....back in the day sundays would go on for ever and F1 wasa great way to delay doing homework on a wet sunday...

I was a big fan of the Skoda team from the 2001 season, look they even took there own pit crew round with them!

I saw a bit of Sundays race and Hamilton seems to be finding his feet fast, but how much notice are the drivers taking of team orders these days, and does the second rated driver still have to make way for the Superstar?
