Best wishes for your sister mate. Hoping it's success :)

Luckily mine was just a massive muscle knot. It started just under my left shoulder blade and went down to the top of my left arse cheek. Biggest the doc had ever seen! I'm so proud ;)

The good old NHS, having a cock up with the beds and the operation may have to wait until next week now. Typical.

Probably one for the pissed off thread this.

F***ing NHS, bunch of cu*ts the lot of them. Could quite happily swing for a few of them!

Decided to announce that after having promised my sister surgery this week she will now have to wait until the end of Feb. She had bit of a fall yesterday and has made her back even worse, shes getting to the point where she is going to break down. She just got home from spending the night in hospital and her fella, me and my brother took her from the car and at one point where we had to lift her off the hall floor, we have never heard someone scream so loudly in pain!

They just keep fobbing her off, how can you go from high priority to wait another month?!?!
We started to ring up and complain today because the staff at the local hospital were even being rude to her and not helping her.

That's terrible news for your Sister 7KK7, she must be at her wits end with the pain, I really feel for her, keep her cheered up mate, she's going to need you all. Who's looking after her little lad?

Hope for her sake she doesn't have to wait that long. :(

They haven't discussed anything with her, they have never rung her to tell her whats going to happen, she has always had to go chasing people and constantly having to put up with the surgeons PA who is always rude and says something totally different to what the doctors say.

      Just saw this thread now.

So sorry to hear of your Sister's problem 7KK7. I hope and pray the op. happens soon and is a great success.

Crouchy, sorry to hear about your woes mate.Hope you put it all behind you. Interrupted season sucks as you can lose momentum. Us Aussies are made of sterner stuff aren't we Harry?  ;)

I've been lucky of late, as I havn't had a major injury for a while, as I have had a few muscle injuries playing a hell of a lot of sport: torn calf, when a young jackass footballer decided to plant the pointy end of his boot into the back of my calf when I had long given off the ball, which resulted in excruciating seizing up of the muscle! 2 hamstring tears and some back spasms when I overdid my Micheal Holding impression bowling.

Overall I've been lucky though as it could've been much worse. Sporting friends of mine have been cursed with constant groin problems, broken legs, fractured ribs and more.
      Touch wood.

      Just got results back again.

Lymph node in the groin. I'm scared because i just looked it up and they're saying it could be the sign of a major disease or something :-\

I have absolutely no idea. My mate said he had a few and he's feeling back to 100% now so i'm hoping it's the same. But mine is in the groin, his was more upper body.

See what ye ol' doc says.
