Anyone fancy meeting up before the game?

Passed the Cabbage again yesterday what a shame,a fine old boozer like that just doing nothing does anyone know if it gonna re-open at any time because it would be a shame if they pulled it down.

Don't know where I heard it yesterday, but there's plans to make it a Tesco??  Must be a Tesco Express, not enough room for proper store !!

Pulling down my local for a Sainsbury's express as well.  Shocking state of affairs these days.  It's hardly like any of us live far from garages, local shops, massive supermarkets. 

These supermarket monopoly's have gone far enough. And now pulling down boozers for more of them.  Silly.

I think I said that on here yesterday Smiggs. Heard it's gonna be a few things though. Heard the Tesco story, heard it becoming a car park, heard it could be another pub under a different name and management and heard it could be a cafe. Obviously people are keeping their options open.

I've heard that too mate, from a few regulars in there, our kid was gutted when he heard, I heard a few people were trying to put a protest together about it, but don't think it's going to make any difference.

It's F***ing shocking whats happening to a lot of boozers around here and then the police and authorities wonder why there is trouble in the only places that are left!!

Going on Thursday night cant blo*dy wait. Will be in the 12th Man for 4.30pm if anyone up for a jar will be with the old boy And after the game aswell.

Aah no way was  in the cabbage before and after the last few games i was at.Nice crowd and a fine big space out in the beer garden.hhhmmmmm ice cold carlsberg.

So it sounds like the Cabbage is a deffo for the bulldozers after all those years of good service to our supporters,I can still remember some of the banners being unveiled before the games what a damn shame.

An hour in the pub, and then set off for Anfield about 5.30.

Hopefully will make it just going to be busy as it's my wife's younger brother's first time in Liverpool but would be good to put a few faces to the names.
