Thought Kyrgiakos was very very good tonight at the back. Can't think of anything that went past him.

Spearing had a good game, make some telling passes.  Sotis was solid especially second half.  Degen was very good going forward.  Hard fought game that.

Degen and Sotis really shone at the back. Thought Carra did some good and some shaky things while Dossena...poo.

Spearing was great in midfield, played some great balls after settling down into the match. N'gog was a little better than average but that goal was really good.

Good win in the end.

Was always going to be a tough match and they did give us a few frights. But we held on and got the win.

Need to play much, much better though in the next round.

Sotis did very very well tonight. Looked pretty solid, and those towering headers at the end! Looked like he was coming off a trampoline!

Degen looked really up for the game and did well going forward. Credit where it's due.

Man of the Match? No-one really shone, but I think Jay Spearing stood out for some great intelligent positioning and passing. Looked really mature tonight. Well done!

Always going to be a difficult one this,especially knowing there would be so many changes.Well done Carra under a bit of pressure.Thought Spearing really stepped up tonight.Reminded me of a young Stevie G with them defence splitting passes.Big + for Babel too,he was everywhere tonight.On we go!!!

A very well taken goal and he's looking stronger and stronger up front. Really pleased about that. It's at the point now with him where I'm starting to believe that he can come on and really do something for us.

Thought Riera and Dossena were awful, Babel impressed me tonight he was explosive and he looked confident.

Not sure I agree with N'Gog. I still think he has a lot to prove. Didn't look up to it first half, but well done for the goal and I really hope you're right Ross.
