Is anyone offering a better price than 4/1 for Spain to win the world cup. They should walk to the final.

I lost 186 quid to birmingham drawing this weekend

Which of the two did you have your £186 on RB?

With 6 games left, Torres is 8 behind. Would be a massive effort.

Good shout. Will look into World Cup markets.

I had a few teams and if Birmingham and Reading didn't draw would of had 186 quid.

      :<

      I had from memory

      Blackpool
      Chelsea
      Arsenal
      Man Utd
      Blackburn
West brom = drew 1-1 to reading
      Cardiff

Good shout. Will look into World Cup markets.

My advice crouchy, for what it's worth: wait until the event it's self and, in particular, the group stages.

There are 'special' bets on each and every game which revolve around totals. That is: total 'shirt numbers' - the numbers the goalscorers wear added together; total goals and total corners, for example.

Each of these totals will have a value (odds) attached - 'shirts' may have; over 31 @ 6/4 (2.5/1) - under 29 @ 11/8 and 29-31 @10/1 - for example. All irrespective of which team scores or wins.

What you have then, for example, is a bet (say £50 quad) on:

      S. Africa v Mexico - shirts over 30 @6/4
      S. Africa v Mexico - goals over 2 @ 5/4
      Germany v Australia - shirts over 40 @ 6/4
      Germany v Australia - goals over 3 @ 1/1

You won't care who scores or wins just that your totals are exceeded and you collect your £1406.25.

I have been around gambling for a number of years and i can assure you that, with a little research, this is your best method of making decent money at the World Cup. You can bet singles too - it don't have to be multiples.

      I hope my explanation hasn't over-complicated a simple bet.

Indeed it's not; and thankfully a far cry from the £186. Good luck RB.  :gt-happyup:

Is what i'm waiting for, mate. Some bloody whacky ones come up around the tournament itself for some great odds. Even a bet of how many corners in the whole competition.

In terms of winners/qualifiers from groups you can find some good odds when form closer to the tournament itself may bring some good odds down.

      Okay so we have:

      Spain - $5.00
      Brazil - $5.50
      England - $6.00
      Argentina - $9.00
      -----------
      Italy/Germany/Holland - $13
      France - $17

      Some good value.

      You could do them E/W?

Not exactly sure how far they have to get, my guess would be top 3?

      Interesting.

Would it be worth, say, putting £10 on both Brazil and Spain to reach the final? Then if one of them don't, I should still make a little bit of money/break-even.

Suppose it depends on the odds though.

Judging by the prices that crouchinho posted, you would be up money if either got to the final! If you went e/w get 1/4 of the odds, you wouldnt be up much but it'd be something! Then if either of them won then you would get the outright price for them and the e/w bet aswell! Free money :gt-happyup:

If there was an option for 'get booked any time' I'd probably do it but it seems you can only bet on the first player.

Scholes is starting, but the chances of it are probably slim.
