Fringe is awesome.Good writing, great stories and back stories.  A lot like X-files.   Already in 2nd season here in States.

Each episode gets better and just f***in' crazy stuff. I love the writing.

I'll never touch a $2.00 Bill again.....wait for that episode!

Seen this advertised on holiday when I was watching the Villa game on one of the Maltese channels and didn't think it was going to end up over here.

I'll have to catch up with the episodes I've missed.

What English TV channel is it on?

I dont know what UK station has it.  Its a "Fox" produced show.  I assume the UK "Fox" station would have it. It would probably be the same channel that shows Family Guy and Simpson's.

You can also watch episodes on www.HULU.com

I'm pretty sure it comes on Sky One.

Fantastic show. Really well written and acted (with the exception of the guy who plays Charlie Francis). There was a point in season one where I dropped off. There was a slight lull and I took advantage of it using the excuse that I didn't have enough time (which is actually true). I wond up watching the rest of the season on my ipod during my commute and I'm glad I did.

Yes, JD. Watch it. One of the only sci-fi programs that doesn't make me roll my eyes.

Easily the best writing on TV. Its classified as "Sci-Fi" but its not. Great plots to each episode that manage to combine into the series storyline w/out it getting complicated or convoluted.

Gives back a little faith that people can still write good stories and TV w/out resulting to shock and reality TV.

Its on Sky 1 on Sunday nights and then repeated during the week.

Its a blinding series, gets better each time I think.

      I am.

Now that Lost is over, I'm looking for a new series to get addicted - it was the same when Prison Break ended and I thought I would never like a series as much as I liked it. But then came Lost and you all know, I watched 84 episodes in 19 days.

Fringe is a candidate for a new favourite. I've watched only a few episodes so far but it seems quite good!

      (I accept other suggestions too!)

I've been watching Fringe for the past few weeks.  I'd already seen the first 8 episodes when it first came out but stopped watching it.  Now I'm on the $2.00 bill episode that YANK_LFC_FAN was talking about and it was very good.

It reminds me of The X-Files as well with the 'monster of the week' storylines but there appears to be a mythology creeping in for the show with the latest episode I have seen.  Its very good, well written and plotted but it's no Lost, that's for sure.  The only character I really like is Walter Bishop...he's awesome.

As for other suggestions of shows to watch...I'd definitely recommend Dexter, Breaking Bad and Spartacus:Blood and Sand.  For Spartacus, get past the first 3 episodes which are quite lousy, and then it gets better and better.  A more entertaining TV show you will not see. ;)

Dexter is one of the series I started to watch after the end of Prison Break but I never finished the 1st season cause then I got so addicted to Lost and The Shield that I couldnt watch anything else.

But this is the perfect time to start watching it again, good call! I remember I really liked it. As for the other 2 (Breaking Bad and Spartacus), never watched either, but heard good things.

And I agree Fringe is 'no Lost', cause Lost wasnt only about its misteries, what I liked the most were the carachters and their relationships, their histories, that's what made the series even more addictive in my view.

Yeah. Had my doubts when the show started for that reason, but have to say I like him.
