Dirk Kuyt should without a doubt be added to the MOTM list.

Aamzing result - played as a team and played well..! Chuffed to peices, superb performance by all...

Much better mix of attacking and defending by Johnson, Lucas played very well indeed, Kuyt was solid (could have scored a few, but still a good performance) - Nando with a world class finish..! Deserved that win today, no question... 3 straight wins over Man Utd shows we are no mugs, now lets kick on and mount a serious campaign!

The whole team are a contender for MOTM to be honest, they were battling for the whole game but reckon Lucas edged it.

It feels good to finally have a post match thread where we are celebrating.

A well deserved win, every single one of our players turned up today and played with passion. I just want to thank the managers and players and fans and everyone involved today for that.

Excellent result and enjoy the celebrations. Hopefully this is now the turning point for the season.

Sky Sports 1 mate.  Think you have to be in the UK.  Torres got MOTM but IMO it was close between him, Yossi, Lucas and Agger.  My vote goes to Lucas though.

That was an amazing performance from the whole team, still crying here , it's an absolutely brilliant result for a club and team that's supposed to be in crisis, come on you Reds.

I thought Carra was immense today.  Given the start to the season he and the club have had, he must've been hurting.  Some people, including myself if I'm honest, were starting to doubt him, but he was brilliant today.

No one was scoring for the mancs today..not on Carra's shift!

Carra was awesome today, although I wouldn't argue at any of the above getting MotM.

Fantastic performance, totally outplayed the Manc tossers.  Let's hope this is the start of our unbeaten run which lasts until May.

Loved Reina's celebration to N'Gog's goal. I think that pretty much summed up how we all felt at that moment and it showed how important that win was.

I thought Fabio moving and playing into the centre of the park at times was brilliant. I am seeing glimpses of his talent as a CM.

I don't mean to put a downer on things.  But seeing beach balls & balloons come out of the Kop end sickend me.  Now whoever you f**king people are who come down from wherever to Anfield to take the piss out of our result last week, is not funny.  You cheeky bas**rds.

I expected better from 'so called' Liverpool fans.  Infact, I fully expected it from Mancs and we got it, but whoever you pricks are, shame on you.

Now that's out of my system I've got one more thing to get off my chest, Tom Hicks sit the f**k down, do not ever celebrate at OUR ground ever again.  There was a 10,000 man protest against you and your f**king other business partner that you sat away from in the second half, after acting like best mates in the first half.

Rant over.

Fernando Torres I love you unconditionally.

Wonder where all the doom and gloom merchants are now  :Smiley

That was a real TEAM performance today, they all fought for each other, and all helped each other out, that's what I expect to see week in week out, not just against the big teams.

Torres made the difference today though didn't he, his presence on the field was all we needed, and I knew the breakthrough would come eventually, and it was fitting tribute that he scored the opening goal.

5th in the league, 4 points behind the scum, so it's game on boys and girls.

Trying hard not to get carried away, but I can't help it. Good to see Jamie back to his best marshalling the defence.

Did anyone else see Sami in the stands cheering us on.?

And just tell me who the hell is Michael Owen  Up Yours
