I'm fed up of the whole "you don't go the match, you're not a proper fan" sh*t.
The best Liverpool FC fans are the ones I talk with on this forum....while the match is being played sometimes.
Like myself, some people just can't afford to go every single match or they have other priorities like college or work or their family.
I can't afford to go the match anymore, just the home CL ones for me and I'm satisfied with that.
Real fans care about the club, they don't go the match to slag lucas and ngog off every time they touch the ball.
mmhmmm.. I'm continentally challenged myself.

We haven't got any!!
haha suppose not, chelsea have the £$£$£$ to keep enough players happy to sit on the bench, keeps their starting XI fresh for every game throughout the season.

I didn't mean to come across as I go to the match and you dont so im a bigger fan than you, thats playground stuff, something children argue about. seriously, its not what I mean at all.
But for somebody to make a statement that hes Liverpool FC's biggest fan, and hes sat here on an internet forum with about 30 other people online, nah, just sounded abit silly to me. You see the ones on the telly who spend every bit of money they have on LFC and you can just see its all they have in their life really. Thats what I was aiming at.
Because somebody swears alot, and has strong opinions on an internet forum, doesnt make them a huge fan, or even a particularly good fan to be honest, and some of his posts tonight have been the opposite of a true RED

Liverpool Football Club's 'biggest fan' is a 100% negative source... wow.
Everyone hurts at losses. It's just that most people deal with it in a better way than you do if I'm being honest. The mentality of this club is onwards and upwards whereas yours is more complain about the result, the world's a sh*t place, what the f**k are we going to do with ourselves.
Just glad I don't take that approach - and the majority of others don't either.
Right softshite, I bit my tongue with you for too f**king long now. But since you seem desperate to get a reaction, here you f**king go.
Quote from: dunlop liddell shankly on October 28, 2009, 09:58:33 PM
Cav - bit rash at times.
Degen -
few decent runs
but didn't put the ball into the box quickly enough
Skrtel - no wonder he's been dropped for Agger
Greek - didn't do much at all
Insua -
quality strike
, not much else throughout the game.
Kuyt - sh*t going forward (as usual)
but offered some cover from their set pieces.
Spearing - didn't do too much to get hyped up about
but was always looking for the ball
.
Plessis - waste of space.
Babel - should never be allowed to play for the club again.
Ngog -
put himself about and worked hard.
Voronin -
some decent touches and passes.
Benayoun - didn't see him.
Aquilani -
one decent pass and a good effort with the overhead.
Ecclestone - wasn't on long enough, but for when he was should of been up front since he is a forward.
Overall, too many passengers today. Another year passes where we won't be adding to our 7 League Cups. Disappointing and "oh it's only the Carling Cup" won't wash because it's another defeat. 4 out of 5 games we've lost now. It may 'only' be the Carling Cup but this is a chance for those to impress, they didn't. That, along with the result itself, is what's disappointing. If we get injuries, these are the players we're bringing in and f**k me if that's our squad we're in sh*t street.
Now if you could read, that would simply read as some positives.
But since you simply wanna go through life on this forum without too much hassle you haven't got a f**king clue about Liverpool Football Club. You're opinion is, well whatever the majority are going with. You simply go with the grain because you're a sh*t house and don't have enough knowledge on the club to form your own opinions.
You're second post in the thread, one of such insight on the game and how you felt the lads did. Oh wait no it wasn't. It was.
Quote from: Ross on October 28, 2009, 10:00:04 PM
Do you only breathe negativity?
F**k me.
How much has that post contributed? What has that shown of your opinion on the game? F**k all because you haven't a clue.
Your opening post says you're happy we're out.
Quote from: Ross on October 28, 2009, 09:56:23 PM
Positives:
One competition less to think about
What kind of f**king bollocks is that.
Some f**king fan you are. You're happy we're out. Good f**king god, and you call me negative.
I'm annoyed because we're out, you've over the moon we are.
And the rest of your very insightful posts on Liverpool Football Club's defeat tonight.

DLS you really are pathetic. 'Learn to read softshite'...
Alright, I'll see I can book myself into a 'learn to read' seminar at Uni next week.
Just watched Insua's goal again - absolute beast.
Quote from: Ross on October 28, 2009, 10:18:06 PM
True.
But there's hearing opinions, and there's hearing negative sh*te twice a week. Gets tedious.

Babel again failed to deliver, even if he did look better when moved to the middle, Voronin got going in the 70th minute, but why wait, until then he was aimless in his play and second best for the most part, (two players Rafa has to let go). Appart from that the game was an open game which could have gone our way and to listen to their kids being applauded like they are some sort of wonder kids is unbelievable, sure they know how to play but where are there winners medals, how many will get into their first team. Thought Plessis did well, he is one who has improved over the last two years and it was good he signed a new contract. Aquilini looked good considering he had so little time on the pitch, that shows his quality, also he should have had a pen. I have never seen an Arsenal team take the ball to the corner flag, like they did tonight.

And sky can go and f**k themselves too, did we upset somebody when we won on Sunday, pl loudenty of little digs at us tonight and it wouldn't have surprised me if Ian Darke and Alan Smith were waving Arsenal flags in the commentary box.
Our end sounded quite loud as well, whereas the library has deffo been moved from Highbury to the Emirates!!
That's who it was with Alan Smith then. F***ing pricks, they did annoy me tonight. Totally biased.
Our end did sound loud! Was good to hear YNWA at the end.
After thinking a bit more on the match, yes, I'm still disappointed to be out of a competition, but I thought, overall, we did alright tonight. I haven't got the same doom and gloom feeling as I had after other recent defeats. It hurts, don't get me wrong, I would have loved to see us go further and win it again. It is OUR comptition after all. But, sh*t happens, move on. Some disappointing performances from a couple of players but also we have come away with a fair few positives, most notably for me was that we kept on going rather than giving up. Ok, it didn't work out, some typical bad luck not helping with the penalty shout, but to see us fall behind and keep on going for it means a lot to me.

my real quam with the loss tonight is that winning is a habit.. we should be looking to win these games even though the value of the cup is questionable.
regardless of the team picked I felt tonight's performance lacked guile and grit and the winning mentallity. the same goes with Rafa leaving it so late with the changes.
We need to get into the habit of winning big time otherwise saturdays win is nothing more than a morale victory

erm in some ways yeah, I'd rather have a wednesday night off from carling cup football, then play on the weekend on the sat, then play in europe on the tues. rather than play all 3 and just tire everyone out.
Reserves/youngsters play in the earlier rounds but come the quater finals the big guns get put in. How would you like it if gerrard played and got crippled, broken leg, out for a season, and we ended up gettin beat by burnley or someone in the end anyway?
Listen I would have loved to have won it, but its not a huge loss thats all im saying. I've been to two league cup finals and they were both quality. But bloody hell you would have thought we have just lost the european cup on pens the way your talking.
And the carling cup is a good competiton for youngsters/reserves to see if they can make the step up. Because there are rounds were you dont play arsenals second team, and instead you come up against stoke citys first team, so its interesting to see how certain lads get on, like Spearing.
Also, your not impressing anybody with the whole IM THE BIGGEST FAN IN THE WORLD malarky. why arent you down at the emirates then. enough said really.
Well lets go out of Europe then we could stay in the League Cup couldn't we because we wouldn't have to worry about the European midweek game.
So it becomes important in the later rounds does it? If it meant nothing we'd keep the youngsters (that apparently we play, despite there being 7 full internationals in the starting XI) in the side throughout.
And I've been to three Caring Cup finals, all at Cardiff. I haven't yet been able to grace Wembley to support Liverpool and wouldn't of this season either as right now I'm skint. That's the reason why I'm not down in North London supporting the lads. Though many times I was at Highbury.
And sorry, I didn't realise only defeats in the European Cup were allowed to get to people. Unlike you, proper fans like myself, Chats, Ad, Eem, seem to realise that this is still a defeat to our club. A defeat that shouldn't just be brushed off, which you seem quite happy to do.

OK fellas. Let's just settle down. I understand the tension, but it's bleeding into personal territory. I understand where you're all coming from, but let's not get too wound up here.
Not picking on you Ross being that I quoted you...just the last thing I read.
So much for that...
No matter our motives or reactions we all want what's best for the club. How that is achieved may be a bone of contention, but let's not forget that we're all brothers here.

Grumbles: Babel being a lazy sh*te. Cavalriei not being good enough to back up Pepe. Plessis looking disinterested.
Pluses: Insua getting his first goal. Aqualaini looking a player. N'Gog looking like hes getting better every game. Degen looked decent and didn't get injured. Voronin at times looked decent and Jay Spearing working his arse off
More pluses then negatives and some very good football played tonight

I'm just not going to lose any sleep over it, neither are thousands of other reds, and I bet rafa wont either.
And for you to say you fume when LFC lose a pre-season game, m8 ur a tool.
and some1 said before that u dont sound like a red, or something along them lines, and hes right. because true reds pick the team back up again, we dont go on and on about how p*issed off we are at the result and sit here moaning. whats done is done. and we lost a league cup game to arsenal away where both teams fielded weak sides BIG WOW.
