Thanks mate, me too. As said, groundwork is all done. Just need to save up a little cash and go with it. Will do it on the side, will still work my current job too. ;D

You'd be correct Debs! ;D Have some lovely glassware picked out, did some tests in very small glasses first, and I know what I need to tweak. Genuinely excited about doing it, even though it's something new. ;D

Have a look at my SiL's website mate, you might pick up some ideas.

They look very good! Was thinking of the teacup idea also, but I think I'm gonna go with jars first and then work my way into tarts and then maybe in to more speciality items such as teacups. :)

How long did it take her to get off the ground running?

She started as a hobby for family and friends maybe 3 years ago mate and it's just progressed from that really.  She's added the website, twitter and facebook pages about 18mths ago but last time I spoke to her about it she wasn't on a search engine for the website, so you had to know the web address to find it, which was a bit daft but maybe the cost outweighed the income at the time.

I'll be seeing her at Christmas so I'll ask how she's getting on now.

Let me know, am quite interested. If I do go all out I'll be making sure I'm discoverable but I reckon a lot of self promotion needs to be done though in person.

Still doing all the groundwork for this business idea! Finding that the hardest thing is getting my design stuff done, such as labels or tags. Think I'm going to go with something like these with my glassware, but customised. Nice wooden hang tags, which will have the company name, scent etc. on it.

Nice one IO, they look good mate. You could also do them in leather, would make great key rings.

Stressing out, I've got an interview for Sainsburys tomorrow to work in their cafe as a temp till January, but I am terrible with interviews, they have always terrified me. But at least if I get it I'll be getting some extra money instead of the voluntary work I've been doing for my universal credit and hopefully could lead to permanent work.

I had one looking at me as well, so I started a fight with it.
      The whiskey is winning.

I'm locked in a room trying to avoid relatives over from Ireland.
My brother wants me to take him down the golf club again, but last time I did that he got pissed, tried to chat up the barmaid, called the chairman a stuffy auld c**t, and started singing rebel songs.
