He ran the race of his life, finished 13th which sends him to the regional race next week, so proud of him.

Watching the tail end of the test match whilst dinners cooking, then watching lots of footy with the GP squeezed in somewhere in between. 

Got Keira arriving in a couple of hours, it's half term here so she's with us till Wednesday.  A nice trip planned for tomorrow to go see my Mum, introduce the new dog Lucas to the rest of the family, then tea at my nieces before calling to see my son and youngest granddaughter Livvie, then home.  I'll be knackered when I get back, that trip over the Pennines is never easy.

Chill out on Tuesday, maybe a trip to the RSPB reserve, weather permitting, several walks with the dog, not weather permitting , then settle down to watch us demolish the spuds with a few g&ts, jobs a good un 

Just come back from the coast with the grandson. Been checking out the rock pools  very windy but a good afternoon he saw his first goby .

Putting my christmas presents away  after being out all day boxing day and out at the match yesterday, first proper chance i've had to have a proper look 

Enjoying the company of my sister and her kids. They are visiting for a week and a half.

About to say goodbye to my inlaws, and then to figure out what to do with the rest of my time off. Maybe do some paddle boarding today or tomorrow.
