Fabregas: Gerrard is better than Lampard

Cesc Fabregas believes there can be no debate as to English football's top midfielder.

The Arsenal captain rates Frank Lampard as a great player - but puts Steven Gerrard in a different bracket.
 
Fabregas said: "He's still young, young enough to achieve so much more. For me he is one of the best midfielders in the world.
 
"He looks like such a nice guy but he has this side to his game that comes through in important moments, when he makes an impact.
 
"Frank Lampard is a great player too, but for me I see something very special in Steven Gerrard."

There is an empathy Daz with the Arsenal crew although sometimes it does seem a little obscure,I remember being at Anfield 1988-89, we were playing them and we were drawing that's all we needed to win the league that year and they scored in the dying minutes and took the title,well there wasn't much empathy that day in fact it got a bit hostile.
A while later though I was on holiday down south somewhere having a bevvy an there was all these cockney lads on the next table so they starts carrying on and I thought sh*t here we go but it turns out they was having a laugh and a joke and were Arsenal supporters.They asked who we supported cos they picked up on the accent and we all got together and had a good time-if we'd been the blueshite we'd probably got battered can't argue with that tho can you?
