No Skrtel is very interesting. But a great bench for once.

Maxi Rodriguez will score his first for us.

Tim Howard own goal and a Tim Cahill missed penalty.

I'm bouncing of the walls for this one! Can't f**king wait.

Bit surprised - expected to see Riera and Maxi on the wings with Kuyt up top.

Still - pleasing line-up and it's good to see Agger back.

Come on you Reds!!

Good to see Agger back. Kyrgiakos has definitely risen up the ranks now.

Fascinating that Aquilani isn't being risked but Rodriguez comes in for his debut derby. Hmm.

Carra at RB again then. Not pleased with that!

Other than that, looks a decent team, and plenty of options on the bench. Come on lads.

                     Reina

Carra   Kyrgiakos     Agger     Insua

            Lucas       Mascherano

Kuyt             Gerrard               Maxi

                     Ngog

Glad to see Ngog get another run and looking forward to see how Maxi does as I thought he played well in the second half against Bolton.
Kyrgiakos needed to counter Cahill and Fellani on the set pieces. Only gripe I have really is Pacheco not even on the bench now

Maybe Rafa sees Alberto's future as; back to Roma for £15m and then a loan deal to Celtic.  f_whistle

Its definitely starting to look like Rafa sees it more as Gerrard or Aquilani in the bigger games

Good team that, although a little disappointed that Riera isn't starting.  I see soccer saturday are raving about Everton's midfield but ridiculing ours.  Don't know about you but I'd pick every single one of our midfielders over the blueshite.

Funny I was joking with my younger sister about the football and she asked who was playing, I said Liverpool and she asked who are they playing. I then said Everton and she said she'd never heard of Everton before.  Quite amused me that. Cheesy

I watched that, feel quite sorry for him. But he seems to have a good attitude and his English is quite good considering he's only been here a few months.

We are definitely going to batter them!

All the debate about Kyrgiakos aside, I'm reassured to see him in the centre of defence. Another clean sheet, I reckon, can see this finishing 2-0 again.

Come on Redmen!
