Drives Me Mad! - The Drivers' Thread

After driving 5 trips culminating in 1218 miles since that fateful day of May 23rd 2007 I feel this is the rightful place to let some steam off!
Post all your gripes (Room 101 style) stories, observations and funny pictures in here.

Below is a picture of my trusty 1.8 Mondeo GLX - Cost £800 in 2002, 14rs old with 64808 miles (now 87400). Full service history too, I love her! I think the cost of new cars and their depreciation are ridiculous when you can buy bargains like this! Still, wouldn't mind an Aston Martin as a second car!

Also, living by a test centre! Now I'm very considerate to learner drivers. But sometimes I can be stuck there for ages because it's a stalling blackspot!

i moan about learners too. the reply is always 'well you were one once' so i cant really say anything .

on the same sort of theme as learners...people who drive really slow on roads where its almost impossible to overtake. theres one by where i live-its 50 mph but some people seem to think its only 30 and you cant overtake

So you know what I mean then don't you. Thankfully The Green Peppers is closed down now, because you'd be stuck behind the learners, then after driving past, you'd have to dodge the drunk!

Oh and well done on passing first time. Mine was second time round.
Had you been listening to one of your fave's, "King of the Road" - Roger Miller, the night before for inspiration? 

Some overtook me, another car and a lorry within 400yds of approach to a roundabout on a dual carriage way. I was going the same way as him and overtook him after the roundabout and he didn't even try to keep up which raises the question "Why did he do that?!"

Might sound like a big head here but I passed my test with no faults (I used my own car for the test). The instructor hadn't passed anyone in 12 years with no faults so I just did my best. Took 3 attempts to pass the theory though!

Bet everyone under the S*n agrees with this moan... miles of traffic cones on motorways for apparently no reason whatsoever!
I pay road tax but I want to be able to use the bloody thing! 3 miles of roadworks that don't even exist except for the cones...? 
Came back from Liverpool on Thursday night and got stuck on the M25 when 4 lanes of traffic became 1 because of cones! There were roadworks being done but it got me 

Check out the picture below. I came home one day to find my car blocked in by roadworks! Ha!

And another thing, when a lane is closed and everyone else queues up but knobheads go right to the front and start indicating to get let in !!

see i'm nice, i dont do that..i just quietly moan and to myself or whoever is in the car with me and call you all the names under the sun instead!

I normally stick to the speed limits but wot really pees me off is annoyin usually male drivers (sorry for bein sexist) drive really close behind u and try pressurising u in to going faster.
What would they do if u had to do an emergency stop??

I cant be doing with people who dont indicate at roundabouts as you have to use ESP to get a clue to what way they are going.People who are driving like a scene from the Italian job and as they pass you you see they have a baby on board sticker in the back window?
Also why do buses have those "please let my bus out" stickers on the back of them? it should say sod you I'm pulling out no matter what.
And on a final note, this may be because the lady concerned is a horrible bitter blue but what is it with those Babe on board stickers? my neighbour suffers from delusions of grandeur as she in know way resembles a babe, now if she means the pig I can see where she is comming from, all novelty stickers and signs and fluffy dice should be banned.
