Reports in sugest Spain Steven Gerrard has agreed a 33 m euro deal to join the gallacticos in the summer , judging by his body language of late I wouldn't be suprised , I am in Spain at the moment and by all acounts its a done deal , after the initial shock after hearing this I couldn't blame him if he did leave after all .he has done in his career at anfield could we ask anymore from him , if it goes through and Rafa gets the funds who could we replace him with ?.

Well he's having a stinker. We'd wish after we're so late in the season he'd wipe his ass...smelling up the whole place!

If this report is correct surely the club and player would have an obligation to report it.I am under the impression that Stevie has got a few more years to run on his contract,so the only way he can go anywhere is with the approval of L.F.C.

To be fair, he isn't performing and isn't acting like a captain, give the armband to Pepe, let a young player fill his boots as some of them are capable and eager enough, but at least get more than 33 mill euros for him so we can bring in some quality. He's done more than enough for the club and if he wants to go that's up to him.

I'll believe it when it's done. Gerrard has a job to do this season for another 10 games or so.

If true good luck Stevie and maybe at the end of the season alot of answers/explanations as to what has gone on because Stevie loves the club and will always be an anfield legend so people just remember what he has done for our club.

If it is true this is terrible our best player for years, the end of an era, selling our best players, with what's going on nothing would suprise me.

Sorry I have got no link but it is on all the Spanish news programs tonight , hope they are wrong as the thought of seeing him in any other shirt without a liverbird on wouldn't be right.

Always sad to see great players go however to say hes now our best player based on this season is unfair on Reina Masch and injuries aside Nando
He looks less then intErested in giving his best for the team so Id have no qualms in selling him for that kinda money.
It is sad to have to say that tho

Theres nothing at all on Marca which you'd believe would be flooding with such stories where as the only players they are talking about is Fabregas and Silva, not a mention of Stevie G.

If he goes this way he will not be remembered as greatly as he could be. Last impressions will be of a lazy git, which he doesn't deserve - but only has himself to blame for that.
Really hope it ain't true, if he can get some form back he has good years left for us. Stay Stevie!!!

Its a shame how easily some people would take this if it was true. Granted Gerrard has been fairly average this season and looks disinterested most of the time but as they say, form is temporary, class is permanent and I believe he has a good few years yet to give, when he gets his act together.
He's been our best player for the last 10 years and I'd be absolutely gutted if he did leave.

Belive it when I see a link to a credible source. Can't see the club agreeing or player agreeing anything during the season.

Gerrard, at this moment is talking to no-one, he has a long contract and if Rafa stays so will Gerrard, have you all forgot how long it took Alonso to move, in the end he had to put in a transfer request. I think Rafa has more chance of being at Madrid than Gerrard has.

It's always like this when the team is going through a rough patch (really long patch for us).
Time and time we have seen the likes of Cesc Fabregas being linked away from Arsenal.

Wouldnt have anything to do with the fact we got the Mancs in a weeks time and they are trying to unsettle us even more?
