4 - 0 to Real
4 - 1 to mancs

That was almost exactly a year ago, a very different season from us. Before Real we played against Boro that was relegated, Pompey is almost there, then we played the second leg of a knock-out stage and progress in the competition, and after that we take old bathroom.

Do you think we are capable to do this again?

I sure hope we can.

However, I'd be ecstatic to just scrape a win against the Mancs. Tongue

Damn.

We scored 4 goals a game too soon. Wink

If we want to go through against Lille I can see us needing at least 3 anyway.

Man Utd game really could go either way, although they will start as massive favourites, and rightly so.

But you never know.

10er on us to beat them.... 9/2  wasn't a bad bet Wink

I think that it's concrete evidence that it simply has to happen now, no doubt about it.

Magic month march was to be honest

5-0 against Villa - Steven Gerrard peno x 2 I believe, think he got a hatrick if I re-call well. We scored 2 in 7 minutes as well
4-0 against Blackburn ( Fernando's great turn and smash volley, rafa smurks, big sam gets pissed as normal )
4-0 against Madrid and young Spearing comes on and starts hacking all these stars, great player!
4-1 against Manchester Utd. Vidic just loves our club

I remember that month so well, why? because it shows you how freaking great we were smashing clubs left right and centre and not scared to shoot.

This Month:

(L) against Lille 1-0
(L) against Wigan 1-0 ( Poor game to be honest, dire dire game )
(W) against Pompey 4-1

(?) against Lille (home)
(?) against Manc (away)
(?) against Sunderland (home)

Been playing on my mind since last week that.

All it would take is one goal for Lille and things could get extremely difficult.

We were supposed to win the title this season but we can't so the next best thing is to stop those dirty Mancs from touching it. I don't mind if we only win by 1 goal, but I want us to put on a performance that will affect them for the rest of the season. Play them off the park!

Glut of goals for the next week. Spoke to Torres last night and he said he was hungry. Might have been a dream. Might have been because I just ate Pizza at 2am following the football... but it's as good as guaranteed

We need something more than a magic week now. Cheesy
Something like a magic month, with teams around us dropping points, while we are winning matches.

We want to beat the Scum.
Its our Cup Final. It IS our most important game.
To take three points off them will allow the Arse or Chavs to get closer to the title and stop the scum from pulling ahead on numbers.
Its sad when it comes to this.

I think we'll do well to get a draw against the scum.

Hopefully we can win well in Europe.

I find it unlikely that we'll beat Manure, let alone by 3 goals. Lille however should be played out of Anfield easily. Hope we can get the spirit up for that one..:S

I think we'll concede one against Lille, so we'll need to score 3

12 days of Liverpool Christmas last season.

10th of March - Liverpool 4-0 Real Madrid
14th of March - Manchester United 1-4 Liverpool
22th of March - Liverpool 5-0 Aston Villa

Hopefully that win against Pompey will finally kickstart our 2009/2010 season, Grin.

hmm, 3 games in 6 days? its asking a lot of players. I hope rafa doesn't play torres and stevie for 90 minutes against lille, 60 minutes at best should be enough.

we want torres fresh so he can tease vidic like a cat with a fat mouse again.

still...6 days, 3 games Sad

It was a brilliant month for all the right reasons last season Grin

I seem to recall having a dismal run of results at the beginning of this season, and then pulling it out of the bag against the scum Grin

put a 5er on us to win on sunday, and a tenner on Vidic to get sent off AGAIN Grin
