Right on to Thursday with a bit of confidence from last nights performance

Need 2 to go through which we are well capable of getting...if we have last nights mindset! Granted they will have more about them then pompey but none the less we should be well capable of putting them away and doing it early.

Conundrum for me is with Utd Sunday and having played last night do we need to rest the likes of Johnson, Torres even Stevie and Masch perhaps injured.

Kelly Kuyt Lucas Yossi and N'Gog could start with the above mentioned lads on the bench if needed.

A rocking Anfield would be a big boost to the lads but wont hold me breath!! I reckon 2 nil will be waht we will get and on to the last 8!!

got my ticket yesterday so really looking forward to this one, just praying Lucas and Kuyt dont come back into to midfield as it will cause our game to slow down and we saw last night the difference quick distribution from the midfield can have. If Aquilani and Babel dont start Rafa would want to give us a serious excuse as I will not accept having the two players confidence shattered after performing so well to bring back in players who have underperformed but I dont think Rafa is that crazy anyway, surely! cmon the reds 3-1 (Torres, Babel and Gerrard to get the goals)

Not that I wouldn't want Kuyt to play against United as I feel we'll need him to counter Evra.

People saying about Aquilani though and how the fact he played 90 mins may mean he's not going to play against United.

I think Aquilani will start against Lille and be on the bench against United. It would be more advisable have a 2 man Defensive midfield against MU than Lille. We need to have a go at Lille where as at the Trafford, it will be the other way round..

I know we need goals to win here and we want to win every game but I just have this thing in me head about Sunday that we need everyone fresh and fit. What about play Nnado for 60 minutes and no matter what the score is at that point take him off? Or start without him and bring him on at the hour mark?

Want us to start with the same line up that started against Pompey except obviously Maxi out and Yossi in on the right.

Be perfect if we can level it up and then get the win in the bag before half time, then we can take Nando, Gerrard or Masch and Johnson off early in the second half ready for Sunday.

If Masch is injured or a slight doubt I'd rather he wasn't risked, need him for against the Mancs.
