was great to watch, he is back to his best as he was  before his horrible injury
regretting we were playing gerrard in his (lucas) position, keeping him out of the squad ,thus stopping his game time to get to were he is  now,
after the game yesterday , skysports italia were saying that inter are going to make a last bigger bid for lucas,
just hope BR,the club and the owners  are not tempted,, and reassure lucas he has a big role to play for LIVERPOOL even when a certain mr joe allen is fit

      Agree with the captain shout.

he is our lynchpin and embodies what a Liverpool player should be mentally.

Don't think Lucas is one that needs the armband, he'll do that kind of job any way.

If I have one little negative thing to say about his last few performances, it would be that sometimes he is too unadventurous when going forward. Last night it was exemplified by the couple of times he could have crossed the ball to the box after getting a rebound from a corner or free kick, as well as simply getting rid of the ball as quickly as possible when he was in the final third of the pitch - in one instance, he simply passed it to his left to Moreno (if I'm not mistaken) who was in a worse position, while he could have used the space he had to do something else.

But as I said, it is just a little thing, because the things he did well were incredible - the amount of times he won possession back and his composure with the ball were a joy to watch. Very important player for us and the way we play right now.

Liverpool have lost 2 of the 21 games Lucas has played in this season and they've lost 8 of their 12 without him....what does that tell you !!

it tells us what we knew but BR wanted to experiment with anyway - Lucas is a better holding midfielder than Allen and Gerrard and we like most teams play better with a good holding midfielder !!

Arguably our most important player this season. He's going nowhere. There should be protests outside Melwood if Lucas is sold.

Some reports saying that "Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has travelled to London to sign a midfielder. Ausilio’s first choice is said to be Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva but he will apparently evaluate other options, including Paulinho, whilst in England."

Surely they can't let him go now? It's no coincidence that the teams recent resurgence in form is because of his inclusion. I'm also wondering how much of a say Lucas has in the matter and if he wants out himself. For the past two seasons now there have been rumblings of discontent attributed to his social media sites.

I don't think it's unfair to say that he's been put through the mill several times whilst here and maybe he's finally had enough.

Today on skytv italia 'sport24h' thay are saying , that they (inter ) are trying to persuade LFC to make a deal, although it is  nearly impossible he will join in january ,IF an agreement is reached , they want a loan deal  with option to buy in june,

I follow regularly italian  sport tv, and 99% of any deal done by italian clubs are loans with an option to buy, or they pay a little sum now , ( normally below 1M ) and pay the whole sum in the summer,,shaqiri, podolski, salah(if agreement is reached with the chavs) and all the others are loans ATM

F**king madness to sell Lucas, even at the end of the season, now he has seemingly reached the peak of his career, being an important member of the side.

What, like he did with Reina?

The Italian clubs are right shysters. They'll probably expect to take him on loan with us subsidising his wage, "agree" a fee then come the summer either renege or renegotiate the transfer fee or ship him back to us when they don't get their way.

Reina threw his toys out of the pram and had a strop when Mignolet was brought in.

Read his interviews, read his "open letter".
"It was obvious I was no longer wanted". His exact words.

I really wish people would stop trying to re-write history.
