Thought he did very well, especially when up against Walcott.

Didn't hear much about him being mentioned which means he did his job so well that he was never caught off guard.

      Well done, Jack!

F***ing stormer of a game. Kept Arsenal's entire right hand side quiet without much help from Meireles in front of him.

With Aurelio's injuries problems, Kelly out for the season, Johnson out for a few more weeks, Wilson carrying a knock should give Robbo a few more opportunities between now and the end of the season. And if he performs like he did today, he'll certainly be involved for a few more years.

This year we've seen Kelly, Spearing, Flanagan and now Robbo stake a claim to be in and around the first team next year because they're not looking out of their depth at this level. The future is certainly look bright for Liverpool. Could be returning to the days of producing a shed load of local youngsters within a few years of each other.

What could halt Robbo's (and the other youngsters') progress is Kenny not getting the job full time. I personally feel that if there'd be any other manager in charge this year, we wouldn't of seen Flano and Robbo in the last two games. Would of ended up shifting the entire side round playing players out of position. But Kenny knows to entrust his youngsters.

Great game today, really pleased for him.  Will be seeing a bit more of him before May with all the injuries.

Well done lad for taking your chance when you had it.

I saw this man play against my local team Galway United and he looked one of the slowest players on the pitch. Didnt understand the hype at all. Well................. I take it all back fantastic today lad!!

copy my post much? ;)

The last time I saw Jack Robinson play was for a Liverpool XI against my local semi-pro team in pre-season this year. I thought he was the worst player on the pitch. Well I take it all back now! Impressed me an awful lot today, especially up against the pace of Walcott, and prevented an awful lot of crosses. Fair play Jack lad and every vote you get in the MOTM poll is very much deserved.

That is what you expect from someone who is the youngest player to make a first team appearance in our history. A truly gifted player who hopefully will reach his potential with us.

I'm hearing he got back to Anfield and he'd forgot to take Walcott out of his pocket.

Haha nice Blood. Quality debut from a quality player.

Kennys was almost happy Fabio had to come off so he had the excuse of chucking on another prospect.

The lad's bloody quick! Matched Walcott's pace which I think gave even Walcott a bit of a surprise!

I was on the phone with my friend in chicago, a big arsenal fan, I'm near by detroit.  He sais to me, "Robinson looks good, he must have pace cause I saw him staying right with Walcott"  I said "He's not just staying with him, he's devouring him!"  Was a great game to watch, and Im proud he stepped up to the challange, great job!

Here's his performance against Arsenal: Jack Robinson vs Arsenal

Just realised it was his ball that got us in the ascendancy and lead to the free kick.

Tbanks for the link mate. Robbo is super quick. Looks a player this lad. Even when he makes a mistake he has great recovery due to his pace.  He's gonna be a player

The lad did well, very well.

Stuck to his job, showed confidence on the ball, didn't panic, didn't lunge in, showed good positional sense and wasn't afraid to open his mouth.

Keep it up Jack, I think you're going to have a few more games before the season ends.

Didn't put a foot wrong, Fantastic debut. Nice to see the young lads getting a chance. Now Aurelio will probably be out for the rest of the season. Hopefully the lad makes the position his own.

2.15 into that video you can really see his pace. Never realised he was that fast at all!

Have just watched that video again, and specifically the part starting at 2.08 when the ball gets played in over the top. His pace is fantastic, and even more impressive when you see that Walcott's already got a run on him, and Robinson has to turn and only THEN is he able to get up to speed.

Two things I like about the lad, and watching that video shows it even better, are 1) he knows when to stay on his feet and when to dive in. 2) he was vocal with the lads and showing others where to go which shows he isn't intimidated by the step up.

I HAVE seen the next Ashley Cole – and his name is Jack Robinson.

How good was he for Kenny Dalglish’s Liverpool against Arsenal on Sunday?

The Kop boss has three youngsters who will be international stars.

Jay Spearing, 22, and John Flanagan, 18, look good too – but Robinson, 17, (left) is the pick.

Theo Walcott didn’t get a kick against him. I couldn’t believe how good he was.

Before Robinson came on as a substitute Walcott was skipping past Fabio Aurelio and could have done it all day.

      But he couldn’t beat Robinson.

These three kids will save Liverpool a lot of money in the transfer market.
