All good news for us in our pursuit of Top 4. I doubt many of their prima donnas will be breaking a sweat for Pellegrini.

Klopp has been on the Arsenal radar for a while, depending how the season with Wenger pans out next season he may move upstairs & allow klopp to take the reigns.

      Love the mans passion.

That's exactly my thought too. A few City fans have text me expressing their excitement at the prospect of Klopp being there next season. Imagine what he could do with their budget!

Well for starters he will sign Dortmunds three best players Hummels, Gundogen and Reus. Then he will walk the league.

Absolutely one of my favourite managers in world football, love his passion, love the way he sets up his team, love his honesty, be horrible to see him at City and then watch the influx of German talent there, it's exactly what they need. He'll be a massive success there.

Yeah, apparently it involves this incident during their game against Leverkusen, after Benatia went off injured:

Incredibly disrespectful. Guardiola's whole time at Bayern has really diminished my opinion of him, to be honest, acting so classless on a number of occassions.

w**ker with a capital W. As Mosquito said, my opinion of him has hit rock bottom ever since he became Munich manager. Clearly has so much faith in his ability that he feels the need to prove himself...by going to the then European champions with a global brand and monopoly over German football unlike any other major league in the world. tw*t.

To be honest, maybe Rodgers should take that attitude with our medical team because they seem to know f**k all when it comes to preventing/getting a player to fully recover from an injury.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sidney Sam have been released by Schalke after a disappointing result at the weekend. Absolute laughable considering Sidney Sam wasn't even in the squad and Boateng got brought off when they were only 1-0 down.

      Statement on Schalke's website:

      Quote
Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt announced there would be consequences after Sunday’s defeat away to 1. FC Köln and the first action has been taken: Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sidney Sam have been released with immediate effect. Marco Höger is suspended from training and first-team action up to and including Saturday, 16th May.

It's not just because of that game, more the consequence of a string of bad results. And probably there is more to it as to why these two specifically. Like, Sam was dropped to the reserves a week ago, it kind of makes sense he'd be one of the released. Maybe they had a toxic influence in some way. Certainly unconventional, but really only because few clubs would be willing to release players for free if they still represent some value.

It seems very strange considering they spent €12m on Boateng not even a couple of years ago and wasn't he the captain at some point too? I doubt they'll be out of work for too long anyway.

Really happy to see Borussia Monchengladbach have secured a spot in the Champions League group stage for next season. Still have a chance to finish second too.
