Not at all! I'm ecstatic about this and all signs point to success. I'm just wary of being taken for a sucker.

Fair play. Everyone should be absolutely delighted, but poses a little bit of caution after what happened with the previous owners.

You don't know how much satisfaction I get from referring to them as the 'previous owners'.

Thank you, Mr John W Henry.

3 years of hurt, torture, lies and abuse have finally ended.

I am glad we can just go back to talking football!

So we'll have £2m debt if I heard correctly on SSN?
Any news on who our board members actually are?

Not £2million debt. That is what we will be paying annually in interest, compared to the £30million we paid anually under H&G.

I think a majority are cautious and quite rightly so< but i like the cut of Henry's Jib (whatever that means).   He looks and sounds a 1000 times smarter than Redneck Tom, and was very sensible in his short press conference, not to give to much away and spout off ridiculous statements on player funding and new stadiums and spades in the ground.  he seems like a man who thinks things through first.

Got nothing else to say but welcome NESV and I hope you are nothing like your predecessors. No pressure.

      :) Love it

Also helps with the tax bill.  30 odd million was taking it a bit to far though!

Don't think so because NESV didn't buy us using borrowed money, I think.

We are left with I think £39 million debt I think it is the second lowest in the Premiership, to put it in prospective Utds debt is £800 million plus.

@smtm_TIA It's a safe move for #lfc which is what was needed. Mill/Huang may have brought greater riches but also carried greater risk

@bensmith_times Think there will be news coming on that Ben. Not Mill. Not Huang - but some quite staggering news on who is driving NESV.

Ben smith then asks for a PM.

Who could this be backing NESV?

He is one of the most respected ITK's on This is Anfield, very interesting.

      What a wonderful wake up.

Finally we can talk about "Football" again and not mergers, debts, banking law, takeovers, equity, funds or corporate policies.  We kick back and finish the week with an ass whooping of Everton and I would be a happy man.

Absolutely delighted with the news but after the mess the last two made of the club I'm cautiously optimistic about NESV.

They are saying all the right things and seem like the right people to be running the club but only time will tell.

Just glad those two c***s are gone forever!!
