We are left with £37Mil debt, I assume with RBS.

But its nothing compared to the silly intrest we were paying before.

Yeah thats what they've said, basically reduces the interest payments down from around 30m to 2.5m.

Suppose its the same difference as a Torres compared to a Poulsen!

Am I right in thinking that ALL the debt has not been written off, and we are left with a small amount?

If so how much and WHO do we owe to too?

Yes your right, however I think it's now down to payments of £3m a year from £50, which is great but just how much we are in debt is still a little confusing.

The not a penny more website estimates the debt as of July this year @ £425,000,000 with interest payments of + £121m, however it has been reported that the loan that needs to be repaid to RBS is around £240m ???

NESV certainly can't complain about the backing they've recieved from the fans, lets hope they repay us with a decent transfer budget (for Kenny to spend ).

AJ the bit in bold is correct.  The debt counter on the NAPM site includes the loans made to us from H&G - basically what they lost on the sale plus another years interest.

To set against income so we pay less tax. Along those lines anyway. It costs more to have £0 in debt and then pay the tax.

      good point. +

Also you need to factor in that RBS wavered tens of millions to sell LFC to NESV.

Yeah, NESV paid off every penny of Hicks' debt.  What we have left is the clubs debt - which is the lowest of any club in the Premier League except for the debt free Tangerines.

      $3.1 Billion.

However there is in the background someone who owns a stake who is connected with the new york times who is worth a lot more. ;)

Saw something about that today that that individual, Carlos Slim Helu is trying to sell his shares in NESV at the moment. Think the New York Times which he the major shareholder owns about 17% of NESV.

I have a question. Say we have significant finances to make big moves, but what is the whole rule with overspending and not getting enough revenue? I know it will be in place in the future, but what does that mean for us? Is this one of the many reasons for a new/updated stadium?
