What movie did you just buy?
      Nov 16, 2010 07:40:28 am
If there is a thread already like this, i apologize. Did a search, didn't come up with anything.

So this thread is basically for if you have just gone out and bought a movie(s), and you wanna tell us what you picked up. I love my movies, and often (not as much here in the states yet) pick up films and it actually does excite me, so much so i wanna tell people :D But on here i kinda didn't know where to go. So i thought a thread to announce a recent purchase(s) would be nice :D

On that note, i just pre-ordered the blu-ray of 'Inception' on Amazon ;D Can't wait for it to arrive in a couple weeks, been itching to watch it again. So yeah, im excited about that :D

Gangs of New York, simply because its a fecking brilliant show and I haven't seen it in years!

Che because I've heard raving reviews! (Didn't know it was in spanish, and can't be bothered reading the subtitles so havent watched it yet  )

3:10 to Yuma is quality! And on that note, was at Walmart earlier today and they had the Yuma blu-ray going for $8 - one left on the shelf and i snapped it up. Bargain! Can't wait to watch it tomorrow. Meant to be a brilliant blu for picture and sound.

Ah yes. Buying movies on the basis it's for your son. That'll be my excuse for 'How To Train Your Dragon'. I enjoyed it though :) Beats Garfield anyway

      Class film,

Bryan: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

      Marko: ...... Good luck.....

I know, been waiting for the blu-ray set to come down in price for ages and managed to nab it when it was at $24.99 for all three :) Pretty stoked about that!

Don't really buy a lot of films, but do buy a lot of TV DVD. Recently added to my CSI collection, as well as Jonathan Creek: The Complete Series & Xmas specials, The Complete Blackadder: Remastered, The Complete Father Ted and season 2 of an American show called Psych.

Did  pick up a couple of films though, The Rocky Collection (2-3-1-4-6-5 are the order I rank them) & Serenity, a fitting climax to the criminally axed Firefly.

Also picked up Tim Minchin - Ready for this, funny Aussie with a piano.
