Don't worry, someone with the tagline "The wind up merchant" under their username isn't going to last long around here.

I put the wind up merchant to justify some of my opinions who some people dont agree with and start seeing their arse.....You my friend are a prime example.

Have you not watched him the last three seasons? I'd rather keep Balotelli. I mean do we want to become a complete laughing stock of a club?

To some we are a laughing stock now, to put it into perspective Torres and I am certainly no fan of his, would add something of a threat to the toothless proposition we contemplate every F***ing match day.
The very fact the idea is being considered is as alarming as you suggest, it's got to be said.
I bet JWH wouldn't think so 'tho, free transfers, low wage demands etc.

Aren't the chavs paying Torres £175k a week? I'd imagine his wage demands would be considerable. Anyway he's rubbish now so it's neither here nor there. Can't see Rodgers risking his credibility even more by signing that has been.

      sh*t is that right???
Well Chelski are welcome to the laughable expense and laughingly over-paid Torres.

If we could get him for a low amount in terms of wages then I'd say go for it. He has a hell of a lot to prove and having a striker with some pace would be a very nice change

Not really keen on him coming back but one thing I would say is the boy was definitely on the same wavelength as Stevie which is something that's been sorely lacking from the team this season.

Maybe he was never even that good a player, maybe he is just an average, run of the mill player that flourished in a certain system with certain players around him. Would explain why he has been dog awful since the day he left and started his decline the minute Woy took over and changed the system we had under Rafa.

I certainly wouldn't want him back here, he thought he was too good for us, that he could go onto bigger and better things. Bridges burnt!

Nah, Torres WAS absolute class. He was very good at Atletico, but became something else here. His injuries (and our subsequent need to rush him back) took a damaging toll on his explosiveness. And sh*t, he still scored 9 in 23 under Roy/Kenny before destroying his reputation by going to Chelsea.

Was a wonderful player when in his prime at Liverpool, no question about it. It's no surprise that he isn't doing it in Italy, probably has trouble staying awake during the matches (have you tried to watch Serie A?). There's no question he's now not half the player he was, that said even if he was as good as he was with Chelsea last year (ie not very) he'd p!ss into our first choice team as of now.

Don't think it was because he isn't a really good player. His first 2-3 years at Liverpool, he was practically unplayable.

His understanding with Stevie and the fact that he could create and finish his own goals - was like a match made in heaven when he joined us.

Unfortunately, he made that decision to leave the good times for a couple of silverware. He was good but now he's just another player who didn't get the greener pastures he thought he would.
