Happy birthday, George! Great handsome Liverpool lad, the author of "Something" called by Frank Sinatra the best love song ever written.

      RIP George.
His father was a bus driver at Speke bus depot and my mother was a clippie who often crewed his bus, she used to tell
me he was a shop steward and a die hard labour man, George inherited his fathers principles and strived for social justice all his life, a genius of a man.
While my guitar gently weeps, classic George Harrison.

An absolute gentleman and man who wrote some of the best songs ever made. For me he had without doubt the best back catalogue as a solo artist out of all the Beatles. He gave so much to all of us and was taken from us far too early. A legend.

Sung some of the most beautifully optimistic and happy songs I've heard. I'm a sucker for this one.

Loved George Harrison. Funny enough, I liked all the Beatles when they recorded individually.

George and John being my favourites.

Unjustly overshadowed by Lennon and McCartney. Harrison was a MASSIVE artist and writer. If only they let George write more they would of been even better, if you could imagine that.

Him and Paul were the stars of Abbey Road for me - with George edging it obviously.

Paul McCartney playing Harrison's song Something in São Paulo was the most beautiful thing. He dedicated it 'to his friend George' in good Portuguese. When th big screen started showing pics of George, I could not hold the tears!

      RIP George, legend.

The Love version with backing strings added by George Martin is just unbelievable. Just beautiful!
