I watch stuff like this all the time on Discocvery, I'm such a geek, wonder if it discusses anything I've never seen before or whetehr it deals it with teh usual stuff, like the ever expanding Universe, black holes, Red dwarfs, Alfa Centuri, Dark Matter, worm holes, warping space etc.

Used to watch the Sky At Night I think it was with Patrick Moores on the BBC but this one with Prof Brian Cox looks well interesting, with the ever advancing space exploration programmes we have under way new info emerges all the time.
Heard him speak about the beginning of the universe amongst other things and he really is an engrossing orator in his field.

Same here mate - a lot of it goes over my head especially the "faster you travel in space time slows down compared to Earth..."   I mean wtf....very confusing.

I agree, he tries to make it easy for the normal bone head viewer like myself.

      Wow!

One of the most interesting programs I've watched in a while.

I've understood the basics of time in the universe since school but when you hear him explain the length of time the universe will exist and then the fraction of that time that life will exist it is mind blowing. It is hard to get your head around the tiny amount of time we will be on earth in relation to the existence of the universe itself.

Can't wait for next week now.

The top scientists and astrophysicists claim that the Universe is infinite and endless. Which to me is mind blowing. I cant wrap my head around "Infinite".  Endless? How is that possible?

Not only that but if you travelled in a ship at a billion miles a second the trip would never end and I will never be convinced that we are the only ones in the Universe.  NO f***in WAY is Earth the only habitable planet in the entire universe.

Catch this on mate, the subject matter is Gravity in spite of it sounding like a boring theme Prof. Cox makes it compulsive viewing.
