Big loss and I think we'll miss him even more than Sturridge.

Having said that I've seen enough from Allen that he can fill in and also Lucas is back and fit as well.

Hendo has had a good season but he is a long way from being our most important player. We will miss him a bit but Allen and Lucas are both very capable replacements and against Chelsea I think Lucas or Allen wouldbe the better option anyway. The main thing was Stevie not getting that 10th Yellow, phew.

He had to make that challenge, wouldn't have been forgiven if he never and they intercepted him and went on to score....

      Feel for the lad.

But no complaints from me was a straight red, could have hurt Nasri on another day.

Agree with both Danny and Dado, and it sucks even more looking at the replay and watching Moses puss out of a challenge with Kompany seconds before. In the end it was Hendo's bad touch that did him in but still...

But still what? If you're insinuating that there is even a remote possibility that Moses is responsible then you're having a laugh. It was Jordan's poor touch and Jordan's decision to go diving in. Only him to blame but no biggy, we have Allen and Lucas who can fill in.

It still sucks. In two closely related and similar incidents the player who cared is the one we lose- such is life, but I can bi*ch about it

It was sad that Henderson got that red card, he has played his heart out this season and has been in the side on merit.

Gutted for Hendo missing 3 of the last 4 games, he was tremendous this season for us, I just hope who replaces him Lucas or allen or both seeing seeing we will lose sturridge for a couple of games, will keep hendo's aggression and passion in our midfield

regards to the incident, we can't complain , he was late on the tackle after his touch of the ball was heavy and he tried to regain the ball ,these things happen in the dynamic of a game and it was a straight red card IMO

Think his red card was harsh. It's a real shame because Henderson has become an integral player for our team and we could miss him.

It's time for Joe Allen to step up and fill Henderson's boots.

In no way was it harsh, a rash challenge that deserved a red.

Deserved the red. Could see it happening it straight away. have to feel sorry for the lad because of the great season he is having but he did make the tackle. Sounds harsh I know, but that's football. Can't let this be a defining moment tho, and that is up to his team-mates to make sure he is back in the side against Newcastle with something to play for.

Don't think there was intent by Jordan, just careless, but when you go in studs up you are likely to get a red. It was warranted unfortunately.

Its a red card all day everday, but there was no malice in it, like some of those type of tackles you see and you know the player just wants to do damage, Jordan either misjudged or mistimed it but either way he was high and the red card was always the outcome

red card all day mate, when I saw a tackle I said to myself he was off.

We can cope well though, Allen will hopefully.

A lot worse goes completely unpunished these days. The challenge by Eto'o on Suarez that could have broken his leg was only a yellow. Shame because Hendo has become a vital part of the team. Good to see he is fighting tooth and nail until the end though.

I agree mate, I've seen far worse tackles than Henderson's, but you know how inconsistent the refs are in England.

He has done an excellent job this season, so it's a big loss but I'm sure Allen will cover well

I still don't think it was a red and feel for Hendo as he has been excellent virtually all season long.
