Brilliant season for Henderson. He's grown leaps and bounds and it's been a pleasure to see it throughout the course of a season. He's only going to get better too.

That's 4 (5?) of the front 6 belonging to LFC.

EDIT: I wouldn't say this is unlikely either as it seems to be the preferred choice for most people I've spoke to, mancs and all.

It really is impressive how much he's improved this season and it should be a lesson to us all not to right off players too quickly.

It's something we'll never know mate but I think it would.  He'd been such a massive influence on how we played all season but to take the positive from it it's yet another learning curve for him and he'll come back stronger for it. 

I just hope he has a good World Cup to give him even more confidence for the CL campaign.

Only caught the last 35 minutes but Henderson stood out to me, a few smart moves and passes (especially that pass to Sterling, beauty).

Honestly so happy for Hendo, not just cos he plays for LFC, but he has had to prove many wrong and looks set to continue doing so when he starts for England at the World Cup. Fantastic Jordan.

Henderson looked completely lethargic sitting in the middle with Gerrard. He was much more assertive and active in the latter stages where he was moving around a lot more.

In 3-4 years time, I think he'll be immense sitting in midfield, but at the moment, I feel he's better off having the freedom to rummage around in middle rather than sitting.

I'm also curious in seeing him play the #10 role, I think he'll offer something completely different to Sterling and Coutinho. He strikes me as a player who would arrive late or burst into the box type attacking midfielder. A bit like Gerrard of old?

Yea he seemed to get better as the game went on.

Doesn't differentiate between a friendly and top class PL game.

His energy is vital, as well discussed. Hopefully he can add goals, like his one last night, to his game on a consistent basis now.

Didn't see last nights match, however Jordan will once again step up this season, he is gradually improving year on year , so no surprise to me when he has his best season to date this time round, just hope he stays injury free all season long,

Bit bittersweet there, like "oh wow that's amazing! I'm irreplaceable to the team! But oh f*ck I'm responsible for that..."

True though, he's come a long way. Not to brag but I stood by him every single game even when I shouldn't have, always felt that all he ever lacked was confidence. Now he's got confidence and he's on his way to becoming a top player. Truly irreplaceable in our side at this point, especially now that he's adding a bit more of an attack to his game.
