Feel sorry for the lad.  I don't rate him but no one deserves to go through that.

It does make you wonder though how competent our medical staff is.  We sent him all the way to the States for some injections---is there really no one on Merseyside capable of administering them?

Then apparently his injury was so bad that if he trained too early he could break his foot.  And they let him train anyway?

      How bizarre.

Another injury well managed by the club then...

He picked the injury up a fair few weeks ago now, was apparently close to a comeback after going to America etc but now he's out for the foreseeable?! Excellent work, really does make me wonder whether there is anybody at this club capable of doing their job properly.

I'm guessing he went for either a consult or he was possibly going for surgery and they decide it wasn't necessary. Again..conjecture on my part, but knowing a little about sports injury, that's my guess.

If it was related to plantar fasciitus I don't know that the bone break was related.

I read somewhere it's the opposite foot that he broke though? Not the same one he was out with before hand.

Oh great, so he managed to get injured whilst recovering from an injury. Either way, it doesn't shine a good light on the medical department.

Wasn't it Plantar Fasciitis first, followed by this break?

I'm not a doctor but I remember when I had plantar fasciitis in my right foot, the pain was so annoying that I did the typical thing in trying to avoid walking on that foot---of course I then overcompensated and sprained my ankle in my left foot.

Maybe that's what happened with Henderson.  Tried to overcompensate and ended up injuring the foot he was putting too much force on.

I ended up breaking my foot whilst I had plantar fasciitis, the plantar caused worse pain I didn't notice the broken foot.

I suspect with Rodgers under pressure, that puts a strain on the medical team, then you have Hendo, a player who would play through a broken leg.... definitely a recipe for disaster.

Again, I did not think we needed to risk him, especially when we had Milner, Can and Lucas available. I hope this time round, we'll give him as much time to recover and not rush him back. Let this be a lesson for the coaching and medical team, and hopefully, we won't see the same mistakes repeat itself.

Lets face it Hendo is a Milner without the intelligence.

He's a far better player than Milner. He's more creative, has a much better passing range, is more intelligent, is better at reading the game, etc.

arguing over whether Milner or Henderson is the better player.

Hendo can be a very important part the squad. He can score and assist regularly if he plays at the no.10 spot. It would then leave only two spots for wingers.
Coutinho as good as he can be is not reliable enough to play at no. 10 although he is best here. Why? His end product is too weak, Hendo on the other side is very constant and whenever he played at AM he was a threat(Remember when he used to run quickly in the box).

                        Striker
      Coutinho       Hendo        Ibe
                    Can        Lucas

This is a good team which can score regularly, Firminho has not adapted yet.

Jordan Henderson number 10? Are you on hallucinogenic drugs or have you got him mixed up with somebody else?
