The lad's come a long way in a short space of time.
I never thought he was particularly bad when he was being slated every week, but I was so frustrated with him, because I was certain he could do so much better.
I think moving into the middle has helped him win people over, and his energy levels, commitment, attacking and all round play is very good these days.

yeah I reckon it's not just Coutinho or Sterling who will be looking to score the most goals from midfield - Henderson should be applying some pressure too. I fancy him to score on the opening day. Hopefully they all, along with Lallana and Markovic, assist the sh*t out of each other and Sturridge all season.

Every few months I come on here and say something and I will say it again. I told yoi Jordan was a quality player and who believed me? Very few...

 

No, in all seriousness, I can't help but love him, he just oozes class about how he goes about his game. He is always trying to the best of his ability and has come on leaps on sounds. He always had it in him, it was just about getting games under his belt and a bit of confidence. Brendan has had a big part to play in both.

Hope to see him smash a couple of them Ronaldo type free kicks in this season.

As I have said before, less faffing with his hair and more concentration on the pitch.
End result? A damn good player who can only improve.

Growing by the game, I don't know about anyone else but I loved him giving the Southampton player a bit of verbal when he left one on him early in the first half.

I'd have him as Vice Captain right now if it was down to me.

For me it was by far from his best. First half he looked to be playing on the right wing like Kenny used to play him and he seemed wasted, also I think it hurt the team because he and Gerrard have such a good understanding together.

What a F***ing ball for Sterling's goal though, great all round play for that. Couple of strong tackles and then a world class pass.

Play him centrally and he's got all the makings of a long term Liverpool midfielder.

Henderson did seem a little bit lost playing on the right -- he's much, much better playing central. That pass to Sterling was sex, though.

Sad to hear about his dad but credit to the lad, not once did i ever feel towards last season that his form dropped severely or at all, which with all due respect would have been very easy to let happen. Massive respect for him and his dad.

The greatest thing I can say about Henderson is that he's become one of my favorite players in the current squad. He's proven me wrong in such an incredible fashion! I love it. Long may it continue - and I believe it will.
