      The third way?
      Jul 12, 2011 09:03:04 pm
You know, it would be far quicker to redevelop Anfield, cheaper, and not affect ticketing too much if we were to play at Goodison for a season.

Okay I'll get my coat. ;)

Most LFC fans are against a permanent ground-share with the blueshite, but to help turn Anfield into a 60,000 seater would anyone be prepared for us to play 19-25 games at Goodison?

Redeveloping Anfield while we are playing in it just has far too many downsides.  Anyway I'm almost convinced the expensive new stadium option will be used but I just thought I'd mention this one.

      Feel free to bash me.

I'm sure Everton would jump at the chance at the extra income too.

We should be used to playing in old Everton grounds. . . Oh dear. I feel dirty. I'd rather the travel arrangements for The Millenium Stadium. Well for the big games anyway

What you on tonight JD  :D Can't believe you could even think this  :o

Although it kinda makes a bit of sense to play across the park, but I can't see it happening, can't we play at Prenton Park  instead :-\

What is everyone on about? Let's just stay at Anfield, back to common sense

But I thought the issues about redeveloping Anfield were in regards to the area around it? Or is it because we wouldn't have where to play for a while?

I wouldn't give the bitters the satisfaction of Champions League games being played in that dump.

Think of how good we'd be at home in Europe :D

How about we buy a bulldozer and have it accidentally driving out of control in the direction of the old toilet?

We could just hold our matches in Stanley Park, Sunday League style. :f_tongueincheek:

Probably better standing on the edge of the field than in that old wooden shithole.

It is an interesting idea. Financially the losses from the much smaller gates would be off-set by getting the larger gates much sooner.

But would all the Season Ticket holders keep the right to see the game, thus reducing the amount Match Day tickets to?? about 25?

Personally I could live with it for a year.

This is a brilliant idea to be perfectly honest, because we can also charge Everton for bringing a little history to that side of town  ;D

Any extra revenue Everton got would be spent on repairing the damage left every other week.

The place would get absolutely smashed to pieces man.

Agreed, a similar arrangement happened in Algeria for sometime, two bitter rivals shared the stadium, every other week the stadium would be left in tatters, seats broken, but hey that's just us algerian fans.

The image of the Liverpool fans leaving behind an almighty mess every week would be hilarious though. Just think of the epic scale of job the toilet cleaner would have to do.

And then there are the real toilets!
