Arsenal have conceded 11 at home during the league season.  Conceded 17 away, just against the top three.

I was very disappointed with them. While it is admittedly great fun watching them get battered, and poor old Arsene's face as the goals piled in, it was offset hugely by the fact that it was a team I loathe even more battering them. We needed a draw, and once again Arsene and his boys sh*t out.

Still, they look very secure to finish Top 4, which may be slightly lower than they perhaps wanted, but nobody thought they would win the title

Probably win the FA cup though

I've never like wenger, whenever he lost a game he blamed the opposition to the tea lady. What a low class c*unt. Hope to see the back of him sooner.

Thought they were incredibly lucky to come away with just the point last night. It was a piss poor decision by the ref to blow with a Swansea player racing towards goal. They could have lost 3-2. Wenger is a bitter old fool that never admits why his team always bottles it.

      6 points ahead of Everton.
Everton have a game in hand.

Deulofeu and Barkley hitting good form.

      Squeaky bum time.

I heard about the ref blowing early. I tried to find that on youtube but had no luck. It may have stayed 2-2, keeper may have saved or possibly hit the post or missed idk... maybe not. If what was said is true he ruined the game. It would have been nice to go 6 clear of Arsenal with a win knowing they got Man City next. I guess we may be 5 clear tonight. Can't complain too much as Arsenal had double the shots on target Swansea had.

      He didn't blow early

I saw it on the tv the other night. He put up 4 minutes of stoppage time, Swansea scored at the beginning of that and it took nearly a minute to restart, he blew for full time at 5 minutes and a second of added on time

They have been a little unlucky

Their injuries in the midfield just now (Walcott injured early January, Ramsey injured Boxing Day, Wilshere and Ozil early March) are the equivalent of us being without Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling and  Coutinho....Shame about Ramsey in particular, if there was one player that was going to run Suarez close for player of the year it was him, some of the things he was doing reminded me of Zidane which is about the highest compliment I could pay a midfielder

it happens to Arsenal every season so I'm not sure how much of that you can attribute to luck.

so ref just did his job then. Good on him for having the guts to blow the whistle at the right time!  It's football not basketball.

What is happening to Arsenal? Looks like they are experiencing a free fall. Bluenose beating Arsenal looks good to us. Arsenal have fallen a bit further snd will like to play catch-up while bluenose will want to retain their position and will test City to the fullest for 4th.

Arsenal are eyeing up a summer move for Paris Saint Germain’s Marco Verratti, according to reports in Italy.

The 21-year-old has been a regular for the French giants this season, but with no goals in over 50 appearances since he signed in 2012.

      From an Arsenal fan;

      WHAT IS FOOLISHNESS?
      1. Foolishness is when you propose 40+1 pound on Suarez and spend 42m pounds on Ozil

      2. Foolishness is when you are top of the Epl at one point and by April, you are struggling for top four

      3. Foolishness is when you have four midfielders out in January and you ended up signing an injured Replacement called Kallstom.

      4. Foolishness is when you continue to pay a player who has been injured for two seasons . Is he is Messi? (Abou Diaby).

      5. Foolishness is when you lose 6nil to a coach that had earlier labbeled you a 'specialist in failure'

      6. Foolishness is when you say ' Top Four is a Trophy for a beloved club.

      7. Foolishness is when a coach depends on two disables (Giroud and Sanogo) as top strikers for honours.

      8. Foolishness is when à board decides to give a man who has won nothing in 9yrs a new contract.

      9. Foolishness is when fans of a London club pay the highest match ticket in the Epl but live on the illusion of ' Next Season We Will Get It Right'

      10. Foolishness is dumping this club today and returning tomorrow to say 'Up Gunners'

      -----------

      Can't really argue with that

He doesn't fit Arsenal's quick passing style. Verratti holds onto the ball for too long and invites pressure. Will be yet another mistake by Wenger.

      Nope.

I've been telling my Arsenal mates, the best thing they could ask for is not a new striker but a new manager. Arsene has lost it.

I hope he stays. He's unbearable to listen to and an arrogant wankstain but he doesn't win anything. Which means less competition for us.

Wenger hit a brick wall a long long time ago.  He does a good job for the shareholders and his bank manager.  But for the football club going forward and the fans he is long past it.  But they're just blinded a lot of them.

If i were an Arse fan (easy now)...then i would be hoping that Wenger is demised at the end of the season, regardless of the FA Cup results.

He has under delivered for years.

But as i am married to LFC,  i pray (and as an atheist, that is tough going!) that AW is there next season and for many more to come.

He is creating a club that only aims for a Top 4 place....much like us until this season BUT he also is creating a club that has no spine, no strength and a rapidly diminishing confidence in his policy from the board room, to the field to the stands.

      Keep it up Wenger!

Arsene Wenger insists his priority will be to keep the Arsenal team together at the end of the season and says they will not need a major overhaul of the squad during the summer.

The north London club have seen their title hopes disappear in recent months and they have only got the FA Cup left to play for.

Despite smashing their transfer record to sign Mesut Ozil last summer, the club have failed to maintain their position at the top of the table and have crashed to big defeats against Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton.

"Let's see first how we finish, but we have the basics," said the Frenchman, who has yet to sign the offer of a new contract extension.

"What is important for us is we have our players back and available.

"Our main task will be to keep the team together and think 'where did we go wrong?' because there's a lot of positives in our season as well.

"We have been the league leader 17 times and we dropped off when we lost our players at the important moment of the season, that is what we don't want to repeat."
