He should have come to Orlando City...he wouldn't have had to put up with that crap, he'd have had the same sort of weather, palm trees and DisneyWorld!

He'll be back as manager in 3 years time, or perhaps groundsman

      It's in his blood

      Enjoy Stevie

Stubhub Center doesn't quite have the same ring to it as Anfield does it.

Duuuude! That's going to be a great match. The LA-San Jose rivalry can get a bit nasty on the pitch, so that should be a good one.

I'm actually made up for him

A few goals in America doesn't come close to ball busting LFC performances over 17 years

Hope he's an absolute total success out there and wins a few league titles to boot

He's earned that at the very least.

Its how I see it as we'll mate.

Despite what even Gerrard thought himself playing Premier League football week in week out was beyond him at this stage of his career.

I hope he has a great time in LA and scores a hatful along the way.

He'll be back soon enough, 2 years is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Mind you looking at his new pad I'd be tempted to stay for a bit longer  ;D

This all the live long day

He'll be our manager in the future. Not sure if he'll be a success or not, but he'll be back as manager one day.

Makes me feel all nice and warm inside just knowing that :D

Well it was an emotional night.
Seeing our Steven wearing a shirt other than our majestic red was a perculiar experience.
So very lucky to have been there last night to see him make his MLS debut.
Should have had a hat trick but regardless for a 35 year old whose legs aren't what they used to be, he played with such class and energy.
He continually gave instructions and tried to teach his team mates and overall I would say he actually really enjoyed himself.
Loads and loads of red shirts and Liverpool paraphernalia in the stands. We were all showing our true colors proudly
      Such an amazing night
