      I don't know how people drink scotch/whiskey/cognac/etc...

More power to you...much too much "bite" and bitterness for my tastes.

It is maybe an aquired taste mate but I love it. Have to say I do prefer an Irish Whiskey though but I do like a good single malt Scotch as well.

You put in a couple of ice cubes (not a single bit more)
and then you enjoy it slowly. :D

I have similar feelings over people who put milk and/or sugar in coffee.

Maybe that's my problem, I can't do anything slowly.

See I don't do coffee either. Tea I like, but I have to have sugar for that too.

In cans and in English pubs, I agree. Bottles of Foreign Export and when in Eire are the exceptions.

      Cloudwater Brew Co Grisette - 3.6% - 4/5

What a lovely beer, strange beginning as it tasted watery at first and then burst into a fizzy, sweet, zesty explosion.  Poured and produced a slight head, that quickly dissipated, a light golden colour, slightly clouded.  Lightly hoppy, slightly sweet after taste, A light easy drinking beer, I could muller a few of these on a warm summers day.

      Cloudwater Brew Co Cream Ale - 4.8% -  5/5

Strong hoppy notes and strong overtones of grapefruit. It's unsubtle and unabashedly hits you in the face with its flavours and exits with a dry, slightly sour bitterness.  Golden in colour and keeps a decent head. Love to have a couple of these with a hot, sweet and spicy curry.

Cloudwater Brew Co US Hopfen Weisse - 5.2% - 4/5

I've never been huge on wheat beers, I've always found they were too sour but lacking any other flavours to back them up.  The sourness here is balanced by the citrus and hoppy hit, just a hint of sweetness as it exits.  Can't think of how I'd pair this with food, for me it feels like it should be drunk on an early summer evening, whilst the warmth slowly dissipates into the night.
