Just finished Bloodline yesterday after watching the final 8 episodes in a row.

Great show and the best I've seen in a while with great performances by Kyle Chandler and, who I think was the star of the show, Ben Mendelsohn.

8 in a row, now that is a binge!

Might have to give that a look, been watching True Detective and Suits of late. Second series of TD isn't as good as the first, as has been said, but the first was absolutely fantastic. Still think this series is good and agree that all 4 main characters have good diversity and issues that drag you in. I think they shouldn't have tried to do the story in such a short amount of time though as some of the plot elements stopped suddenly imo rather than being expanded upon (wont say to avoid spoilers).

Still it's worth a watch for sure.

Bloodline actually has a similar feel to the first season of True Detective Luke so you might like it.

I've just finished it too. I agree with you about the great performances from those two actors, and the rest of the main all contribute as well.

One other thing I would add is that I've never seen so much alcohol consumed in one TV series.

The first season of Narcos drops today on Netflix. Could potentially be a brilliant series about Pablo Escobar. Great director involved who previously directed the Tropa de Elite/Elite Squad movies.

If it's half as good as Bloodline then it'll be well worth watching.

Just finished Season 1 of Damages so this is good timing for this one.

Narcos is awesome. Watched the whole first season during the weekend (10 episodes). Highly recommended.

I wonder how Colombians feel about a Brazilian actor in the role of Pablo Escobar. I mean, Wagner Moura is a brilliant actor but I have no idea about how good his Spanish is, his pronounciation, his accent... it doesn't make much of a difference to me, but I guess it might be quite annoying to them if it's not good. Great to see such a top quality series with a heavy Brazilian touch on it

Holy sh*t! Had no idea there's going to be a second season. Though it was just a miniseries. Thanks for the update.

Netflix have confirmed a second series of Narcos. 

I've watched the first 6 episodes and enjoying it. The story and characters are developing nicely.

I can understand why. I have watched 7 episodes in 5 days which is fast for me.

Bloodline really does stick in the mind.

I've watched the first episode of Narcos and it does look very good.

On the second season of Damages as well as rewatching The Pacific do I've a lot on right now TV wise.

I agree about Bloodline. I can see me watching it again before the second series is released and enjoying it just as much.

I will pick up again with Damages soon - I have watched the first two series.

makers of the pacific and band of brothers are in process of developing a mini series for hbo about American bomber pilots during WW2, at the moment it's called the mighty eighth and sounds pretty epic. There is a trailer on youtube which looks pretty awesome, for about 500 million dollars it should really

I've read reviews where people have said they find it difficult to follow the characters in The Pacific and how you don't get drawn into their story but I found it the opposite like yourself and really got interested in the three main stories, especially Bob Leckie and Eugene Sledge.

Started watching Suits with the missus during the weekend. Was expecting something good, but wasn't sure about the whole thematic. The first 2 or 3 episodes turned out to be very entertaining though - will definitely keep watching for now.
