It is my type of thing, I dunno, the main actor is a bit slow and dreary and the show feels that way to me.

It's okay though, I've got the Vampire Diaries to watch. 

Is anyone else watching Designated Survivor?

I love this show and how it's unfolding episode by episode. However, I'm a bit pissed off with how many mid-season breaks there are, resulting in a two week gap between episodes.

Watching the latest episode right now. It's good and keeps you watching but my god how cheesy is it...most American show I've ever seen

I know what you mean and it lacks the polish of a political drama like House of Cards but there is something about it which I love and keep returning to with a feeling of excitement. I think Kiefer Sutherland plays the lead role very well - a slightly shy and introverted public servant who suddenly finds himself as President of America.

Started watching Mr Robot last week. Still in the 1st season but really liking it so far.

Truly amazing and I'd go as far as to say worth the licence fee on it's own, I just love David Attenborough.

I've still not given that a go, might have to visit iplayer at some point. I'm with you MsG, love Attenborough.

Just finished watching the first episode Of The walking Dead season 7 & all I can say is WOW!! for those of you following the series all I can say is that
You will not be disappointed,i won't give anything away after last seasons cliffhanger with Negan but I will say
This,he is one nasty piece of work.

It is gripping stuff this series, the best of it is though, Trevor from GTA 5 is in it!

Anybody caught the first couple of episodes of Shooter? I enjoyed the film so thought I'd give it a go and so far so good really. There's definitely some questions to be asked which I guess is a good thing for a series like this, as long as you start getting answers along the way.

Planet Earth II is my favourite thing on British tv, and trust me, I've been watching too much of it! haha

I don't really watch TV, in the traditional way, but I have seen a couple on the iPlayer. This time of year, I barely watch anything, too busy with work.

Getting back into Mr Robot.
Had a 1st series recap, now onto 2nd series.

It's different, but enjoyable, and no idea why I stopped watching it.

Stopped watching it after episode 6 of season 1, got bored.. it's very anti corporate , just kidding.

I don't know, I just find shows like Black Mirror, The expanse & narcos more enjoyable.

but the series' pilot episode wasn't that great tbf

New series of The Walking Dead has been pretty woeful if I'm honest.

Finally made it through Series 1 of Stranger Things.

Can't say I'm overly impressed, but I am intrigued enough that I will watch Se2.

Very Stephen King, which maybe why I couldn't get into it.

I started watching that after reading your recommendation but I couldn't get into it, I found it a bit slow.

So now, the missus has taken over the series we're watching and we're watching the Vampire Diaries again. 

Breaking Bad is wonderful. Like you, I thought it was bit dreary but it picks up very quickly. Keep with it.

Right up to S5 it is great. Personally, thought S2 was the best but it is a gooooooooooooooooooooooo ooood show.

Watching Designated Survivor and I am just thinking it is just stupid. Last episode, the President has 5 minutes with one the guys with evidence while Secret Service take him away. Do, SS take him away before he can say much. Surely, the Pres would be able to say - hey guys, give me another 5 minutes! Stupid or what. The he watches the 'bomb going off animation'. Who does the animation?

Anyway, there are so many stupid plot lines and action taken by major characters, you think - wow. I would not do that but this simple thing and all will be well.
