Watched most of the first episode of True Detective earlier but couldn't get into it properly. Might give it another watch tomorrow.

I had a nice surprise last night when I found out that I've missed the first 4 episodes of the new season of Suits. Easily my favourite series.

      Indeed.

Love the show. Julia Louis Dreyfuss is excellent in this.

Anyone else here watch Ripper Street? It's a BBC series. Has many elements of your typical police/detective series but with the very significant difference that it is set in Victorian England, more precisely in Whitechapel, just a few months after the Jack the Ripper murders. Some great characters and some dark, tense drama on it. I've just finished the 3rd series and can't wait for the 4th.

Haven't seen it, or heard of it, which is odd since it sounds like the kind of thing I'd like! :D

That being said, I couldn't get into Penny Dreadful, so I suppose it depends on if I get hooked or not.

I just started watching Penny Dreadful last night! Couldn't finish the 1st episode as I had to do something else but will finish it tonight. Don't know what to think of it so far but seems like the type of thing I'd enjoy too.

Mr Robot is this new series about a mental hacker activist druggie taking on the corporate world. Not sure I've talked about it before here, but it's great, and a bit weird.

      http://youtu.be/npnTXEgxpuQ

Started watching it (white hat hacker here) and not enough techie stuff for me, too much druggie stuff.

Doesn't look good for Hannibal actually, both Netflix and Amazon have declined to pick it up.

Absoutely loved the first six seasons, then felt it went downhill a bit - from memory I think it was when Rob Grant stopped co-writing it, and Doug Naylor carried on on his own.

For me, seasons 3, 4 and 5 are the best!

      Agreed.
It was OK after 6, but started to get a bit silly.

On the plus side, I've finally found out how Kryten came to be back on the ship at the beginning of series 3.
He crashed his space bike into an asteroid apparently, and had to be rebuilt by the crew.
This had bugged me for years until I remembered to look it up on wiki

Watching the Americans, Dark matter, Humans .... reluctantly Mr Robot (gonna stop soon)
Give the Americans a go (good actors, plot) and Dark matter is Scify channel so it mightn't be a huge budget, it may fill a gap if someone is looking for a sci-fi type show, it's quite good actually, in fact it's my most fun programme to watch... only 7 episodes made so far.

Is anyone watching The Interceptor on BBC? I really enjoy it.

I've been watching it on the iPlayer. Not quite up to date with it but really like it.

I'm also watching Better Call Saul again.  :)

Last episode was last night or the night before. Not keeping track of the days!

Very good though, I like it. Has a very low IMDB rating though.

I've enjoyed it from what I have seen so far. I don't understand the low rating.
