~I watched Lucifer on Amazon it was compelling viewing only because I couldn't decided if it really was that bad.......and it was

Haha I've seen that cheesy as F**k!!

Couldn't believe the lead role used to be in that Nice Guy Eddie with Ricky Tomlinson on BBC 1

Preacher Episode One dropped on Amazon yesterday, anyone checked it out yet?

Watched the Pilot episode last night - looks half decent.

Just watched the latest episode of Penny Dreadful (season 3 episode 3) and it was incredible. I don't know if many of you watch this but if you like satanic stuff, fallen angels, lucifer, demons etc it's a must watch. The lead is played by Eva Green (she was the Bond girl in Casino Royale - Vespa) and she is without doubt the most mesmerising actor/actress I have ever watched. See clip below for a good example

Ive been watching new series Billions, really enjoyed the first two episodes and the two leads (Damyan Lewis and Paul giamenti) are both superb. Think Wolf of Wall Street and your in the right track.

Also watching Penny Dreadful series three and early signs are it will be just as good as the last season which was superb.

Not sure what to say on Game of Thrones last night other than FUC.......K!

Thanks for the recommendation for Billions Scott, really enjoying it. I love power plays and it's been full of them so far. The golf story was a cracker. Not so sure about the sex though mate, bit extreme... for me anyway. ATM! ... I thought they were talking about a hole in the wall machine :)

Watched the first series of Penny Dreadful ages ago but lost interest when the Frankenstein story started and never got back into it.

I've been watching The Five. Filmed over here on Wirral and around town but is actually set in a made up place. Interesting recognising places on it and its actually alright.

5 year old kid goes missing and then years later his DNA starts appearing at murder scenes is the gist of it.

Haha I'm only two episodes in mate and will watch the third tonight so I've not gotten quite so far Into it yet but I'll look forward to the sex!

As for Penny Dreadful, the first season was decent but the 2nd season was absolutely superb, much better than the first and the third season has started brilliantly. I'd recommend you give the 2nd season ago. It's as good as anything that's on TV in my opinion.

You must have a much broader mind than me mate (I've led a sheltered life). The series opens with Paul Giamatti bound and gagged, having a cigarette put out on his chest and then soothed with a golden shower  :)

Ah yeah, forgot about that scene! It did grab the viewers attention that's for sure! I actually thought it was the other guy with weird sexual persuasions (you know the dude who likes dwarfs and does all of Axe's dirty work).

I watched episode three last night, was decent.

Deffo give Penny Dreadful series 2 a go mate it's superb.

Just re watched a couple of episodes of The Simpsons from Season 3, a couple I'd not seen in ages. There's got to be a few Simpsons fans out there right? Aside from what it became from around 1999 onwards, I'm left astounded by how great it was. Never been to the USA but was there ever a programme that so defined pop culture and was so self aware of its own country as good as The Simpsons in the 90s, surely? The animation was expressive, the jokes were witty, the satire was scathing, the characters were so fully developed! Incredible how a cartoon could pack such a punch inside 20 odd minutes.

Im watching an Archer marathon today. f***in' hilarious. Im a late comer to Archer and watched a misc. episode and it is great. Good writing and all the characters are clearly defined. The storylines are good and next too South Park its one of the best animated shows on TV.

One of the greatest scenes in the show for me. How many seasons pass till Martin explained "Hodor, Hodor".

Fans already have a fun with it.  ;D

Any watching this new British Netflix series - River?

All I have to say is that the second episode made me cry. So good.

I just watched season 2 of Better Call Saul (BCS). For those of you who don't know, this is a kind of spin-off of Breaking Bad (the lawyer in BB).

Loved it. It is marginally worse than S1 but by marginally I mean .01%. This time we are beginning to see what the future holds for Jimmy McGill - aka Saul Goodman. We also see more of Jimmy and Kim Wexler. They make such a lovely couple but we know they don't end up together as of BB - sad really.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to S3. Personally, it is bit better than BB.

I agree mate. Really enjoyed Better Call Saul but it's not at the same level as BB for me.

Last episode of Person of Interest tonight. Really enjoyed the series and quite sad that it is finishing.

Last nights game of thrones, f**k me.

Just watched that and honestly feel exasperated. My arse cheeks were chewing my couch.

I am 100% certain that I've never seen anything as good as that in a movie or programme. Unbelievable stuff. $10 million on that one episode apparently and F***ing hell did they spent it well or what?

      Stupendous television.
