      Think Italy will do very well. Provisional squad:

      Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Salvatore Sirigu (Paris Saint Germain/FRA), Morgan De Sanctis (Napoli), Emiliano Viviano (Palermo)

      Defenders: Cristian Maggio (Napoli), Domenico Criscito (Zenit St Petersburg/RUS), Ignazio Abate (AC Milan), Federico Balzaretti (Palermo), Davide Astori (Cagliari), Salvatore Bocchetti (Rubin Kazan/RUS), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Andrea Barzagli (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Andrea Ranocchia (Inter Milan), Angelo Ogbonna (Torino)

      Midfielders: Andrea Pirlo (Juventus), Claudio Marchisio (Juventus), Emanuele Giaccherini (Juventus), Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Thiago Motta (Paris Saint Germain/FRA), Antonio Nocerino (AC Milan), Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina), Ezequiel Schelotto (Atalanta) Luca Cigarini (Atalanta), Alessandro Diamanti (Bologna), Marco Verratti (Pescara)

      Strikers: Antonio Cassano (AC Milan), Mario Balotelli (Manchester City/ENG), Sebastian Giovinco (Parma), Antonio Di Natale (Udinese), Mattia Destro (Siena), Fabio Borini (Roma)

      Think Pirlo will continue his season-long form and be one of the best midfielders in the tournament.

      Oxlade-Chamberlain's, Walcott's and Lescott's families are staying home because of fear of racism. Very sad, IMO, having to stay back home because of that.

      And people still think Suarez is the racist one.

      Spain pick Torres over Soldado.

      Italy drop Criscito after he was questioned over match-fixing.

      Just waiting on something from Croatia...

      Get your bets on Ireland now!

      What makes me laugh about that is the players could easily hire security to look after them so I find it a bit weak to stay at home based on a shitty half an hour 'expose' on sky sports news where they spoke to one gang of idiotic lads about what they wanted to do.

      You could find a sh*t load of gangs in london that'd be willing to kill for nothing but an expose on that just before the olympics just wouldn't be good would it?

      Hi, mates.
      After reading this http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/28/euro-2012-ukraine-sol-campbell I would like to make some remarks.
      1) there is no such a problem like racism in Ukraine at all. None;
      2) there is no danger for life as you can imagine from the interview of Sol Cambell. It is not Africa.
      For real problems I can include:
      1) poor English of its citizens;
      2) bad roads;
      I don't want to mention political situation (Tymoshenko, Yanukovich) because I am sick of it. It is about European Championship, not about politician meeting. So why do they (newspapers) keep talking about it all the time?
      As for the advantages I can say this:
      1) everything will be very cheap for the visitors (food, drinks, transport fees). For example you can buy complete meal (consists of 3 dishes) for 3 pound per person. A decent cup of coffee will cost you 0.5 pound. City transport fee (bus) is just 0.16 pound.
      2) there are lots of beautiful places to watch especially in Lviv and Kyiv.
      3) hospitable citizens. I don't want to write a whole article, because I am not a journalist. I just wanted to point out some moments which haven't been given correctly.
      As for the hotel prices, so yes, I agree that they are high. But Germans weren't shy when they priced their hotels on the champions league final (19.05.2012) in Munich but nobody was talking about that. And you can hire a 3-room flat for a group of several people - it will be much cheaper. And don't forget that you don't have to open any visas, because in my case I have to pay around 150 pound for permission to visit the UK. I do not even mention the mountains of papers I should  present.
      Finally, I am sad that the football championship will not be visited by large amounts of English fans, because it would have been great to support our teams together.
      P.S. I am going to visit London in January 2013 to study English language and after hearing about stabbing which occurs vary often on London streets I am not sure where is safer.
      Cheers  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

      £10 on Spain, Croatia, France, Germany, Holland all to win on the opening day returns close to £300 I think...if you add Poland and Ukraine to that then it shoots up to £1400! Seriously considering a flutter on this.

      Fancy the Germans to win it outright though, with maybe Croatia being the dark horses of the tournament.

      I would not bet on Ukraine. The performance is very poor even though they will be playing at home. £300 from £10 looks lucrative

      Didn't Gary Breen go to the World Cup in 2002 and came out of it with Barca interested in him! :D

      Lampard pulled up in England's training, set to have a scan (think it said tomorrow), otherwise Henderson will be called up.

      Probably the actual reason there was a rehaul of strategy  in Barca in 2003! Gary Breen is to thank for the Barcelona team of the last few years! :D

      Unlike most of my mate, I'll not be supporting ROI. Kind of resent how they select some of their players, e.g. McLean.

      Anyway, is there any prediction league started anywhere?  I have all my results completed and would like to generate them to see how groups would finish with my predictions.
