Great to see all the positive comments from some that have only followed his progress in this thread.
For me he played exactly the same as he does for the u21's and that is the best comment you could make. It shows that he played his natural game, wasn't fazed, didn't panic and was confident enough to show what he can do. Fantastic pass to Luis from our own half and was still in the box for the cross, not stood admiring his own work. Should have probably done better when the ball fell for him but fair play, at least he was there.
One thing you get with Tex is when he receives the ball the first place he looks or dribbles is forwards. He'll rarely lays it off to the nearest teammate, unless he's under pressure, his aim is to get an attack going.
Brave, brave move by Brendan but what faith he's showed to a young lad bursting to get a chance.
